Umm! Some of us are really superstitious, even if we don’t reveal our superstitions in public. You probably remember some instance in your life where you blamed yourself for something that wasn’t even your fault. Or you could have jumped in ecstasy because those superstitions worked. But have you ever thought a mother of three daughters, soon four and wife of former Eagles center Jason Kelce is superstitious? Well, she is, and let’s just say Kylie Kelce’s superstitions are pretty interesting—Yeah, that’s the word.
Kylie Kelce is more than living up to the name of her Not Gonna Lie Podcast as she continues to spill secrets. On Thursday’s episode of her podcast, Kylie revealed how she has a piece of wood to control her superstition, “I have a piece of wood to knock on throughout this segment because that’s how superstitious I am. I can’t help but feel responsible if I say something that may be considered a jinx. Wow! Like Kylie can easily be considered the epitome of superstitions.
Even while recording her podcast, Kylie carried wood and warned her fans: “In which case, when you hear knocking. It’s because I have to.” Such are the levels of Kylie’s superstitions regarding the Eagles’ playoff run. But this isn’t the first time. Kelce has been outspoken about her superstitious beliefs.

Going back a few episodes on her podcast, Kylie carried some different superstitions whenever she watched Jason Kelce play: “If they did well while I was standing. I’d stand. If I crossed my feet a certain way. I’d keep doing it.” And while revealing those superstitions, she didn’t just take us by surprise. Kylie also blew Fox reporter Charissa Thompson’s mind, who was her guest on the podcast, “Oh my god. Kylie. This is crazy.” Now, you could be wondering, is Jason also superstitious, like her wife?

Well, Kylie has the answer to your query, “No, not at all. Like, he would laugh at me about what I was superstitious about.” Maybe some would laugh, and maybe some would agree. But for Kylie, it’s just that mental reassurance she gets from having superstitions. While Kylie continues to hold firm on her superstitions, her husband remains busy analyzing his beloved Eagles’ playoff run.
Jason Kelce protects Jalen Hurts from his critics after a lackluster playoff win
After missing the final two games because of a concussion, Jalen Hurts returned to lead the Eagles in their wildcard matchup against the Packers. Though it was a 22-10 win, the Eagles failed to produce any spark in the offense. Like, would you believe that the Packers, whose QB Jordan Love threw 3 interceptions, still threw more passing yards than Hurts? Yeah, it’s true. Love recorded 212 passing yards compared to Hurts’ 131. And you know what? Love also attempted more passes 33 than Hurts 21.

Even though the Eagles won, Green Bay recorded 302 total yards compared to the Eagles’ 290. However, Jason Kelce still believes it would be unfair to put all the blame on the Eagles QB, “The rust definitely plays a factor. I don’t think we ran block particularly well. I know the run game was better. But I thought there was more to be had across the board offensively to be honest with you. So I don’t think it’s fair to just put it on Jalen.” Looking at the bigger picture, Hurts did throw 2 TDs and also ran for 36 yards.
And unlike Love, he didn’t turn the ball over once. So, Hurts even came out saying that no matter how he performed, a win is a win: “I think you guys need to understand. I don’t play the game for anything other than to win. My role approach in each game will be different. Ultimately, it’s about winning the game. It’s playoff football.” Now, you can’t really disagree with that sentiment, whether it was an ugly win or a blowout victory. At the end of the day, your season is on the line. And taking a cautious approach to your games would be better than throwing it away.
