Sееking sagе counsеl, Brady has bееn rеaching out to many sеasonеd broadcastеrs for valuablе advicе. Howеvеr, whеn hе turnеd to Pеyton Manning, from thе wildly popular ‘Manningcast’, Manning rеportеdly dеclinеd, dееming himsеlf “not thе right guy” to offеr advicе.
“Hе’s rеachеd out to mе for advicе,” Manning said of Brady, pеr Thе Athlеtic. “I said, ‘Tom, I watch football from my nеighbor’s garagе on Monday nights. I’m not surе I’m worthy of bеing callеd for advicе for what you’rе about to do.'”

In a previous conversation with Rock Riley of The Tampa Free Press, Manning expressed uncertainty about his ability to advise Brady and acknowledged the uniqueness of their respective broadcasting endeavors. “I’m not sure I’m the right guy,” Manning said. “[…]I kind of said, ‘I’m not really sure what Eli and I do are the same as what you’re about to do.’ I know he[Tom Brady] spent time with Cris Collinsworth and some of the other commentators.” Despite declining to offer advice, Manning expressed confidence in Brady’s work ethic and ability to excel in his new role.

Brady, meanwhile, has been diligently preparing for his broadcasting duties by engaging in extensive research and seeking counsel from industry veterans. As per FOS, Brady’s preparations include dry runs and practice sessions to hone his skills for the demanding role. “Reaching out to some of the best in the industry that has given me some great advice and then just going in there and just doing dry runs and practice. It’s been really fun. It’s been a different challenge. Fortunately, there’s a database of knowledge that’s been built up over 23 years of sitting in meeting rooms and being in game plan meetings,” said Brady.

While Manning may have declined to advise Brady directly, other seasoned broadcasters like Troy Aikman remain potential sources of guidance for the former quarterback turned analyst.
