From competing against each other for Super Bowl glories, the Manning brothers are back at it again. And this time as Pro Bowl Games head coaches for the 2025 edition. This would be their third consecutive year taking on the role of head coach at the Pro Bowl. Reprising their role in the AFC and NFC rosters, the Manning brothers have already started taking jibs at each other.

As soon as the NFL announcement dropped, Peyton Manning gave his thoughts on the Pro Bowl Games happening every year, “The Pro Bowl Games are all about having fun. It’s always unpredictable, and we get to bring the fans into the action and see the NFL’s biggest names compete.” And not only that, he wants to take revenge and stop his brother’s dominance in Pro Bowl Games in the last two years, “And the best part about this year’s games is knowing that my AFC team is going to end Eli’s two-year run of luck with the NFC.”

Just last year, before the Super Bowl, this clash came down to its final moments. However, Giants legend Eli Manning’s NFC managed to prevail yet again as they forced an incompletion. This helped them secure a 64-59 victory, with Baker Mayfield winning the offensive MVP.

A reminder he needs to be in the Hall of Fame. Obviously from his incredible NFL career, but also because of his career as a Pro Bowl coach.”

Although Eli Manning won the first edition of Pro Bowl Games, which featured flag football 35-33 against his brother. He has since chosen to delegate some of his responsibility to Keenan McCardell, his offensive coordinator, “I needed to hire an offensive coordinator. It was stressful for me last year. I handed over the reins. Keenan, you run it. I’ll be the head coach, I’ll talk trash to Peyton. I’ll be handling the players. I don’t want to think about calling any plays. This is your show.”

Well, when it came to trash-talking Peyton, Eli did go ahead and call shots at his brother about using Wes Welker as his OC, “I’m sure Peyton will be like. Hey, Wes, you call the plays in the game. But I want you to call these 20 plays first. But yeah, you handle it, you’re the coordinator. He’ll definitely be micromanaging the heck out of him the whole game.”

While we don’t know how much control Welker had on the NFC team. They haven’t managed to get the better of Eli’s AFC till now. Will it be the same result this year? Well, it could be as Eli continues to leave his mark as a coaching mastermind before getting the chance to manage in the NFL.
