Can Jack Brady live up to the immense legacy of his father, Tom Brady?

Let’s just say the GOAT is living! Tom Brady deserves to after sweating, grinding, and balling on the gridiron for 23 seasons in the NFL. He’s enjoying time with his kids, vlogging it all on his YouTube channel like the 2024 Paris travel experience with daughter Vivian. Now, it’s his son’s birthday, and as expected, a long-captioned post was uploaded for Jack.

On the 22nd of August, Tom Brady took to his Instagram to chime out an elaborate “Happy Birthday” post for his son on his 17th. “Happy 17th birthday to the kindest, sweetest, most thoughtful 17-year-old, I know,” captioned Brady.

But hold up, Tom. Your life’s blessing is wanted at Foxborough! The Patriots Nation did not take much time to ask their franchise to send out a contract for their legend’s son. One fan wrote, “I have seen enough. Patriots send the contract ASAP.” What the football world holds true to is the power of genes. We believe in it. Take the Gronkowski family, for instance, especially Rob—his time with Brady on the gridiron just speaks volumes.

However, the fans’ reasoning for making such demands known is also to look at. Mostly fans were talking about how tall Jack was already at just 17. A fan made a sarcastic remark, “Just wait until he can dunk on you! HBD Jack!” While another had a direct message for Jack saying, “HBD Jack!!! You should celebrate by kicking your dad’s a** in basketball!!” That would be unfair, wouldn’t it, now? We can’t even imagine a 47-year-old Tom Brady attempting to dunk and dribble around on the court. Cut almost a couple decades out of that number, then maybe a case can be put forth.

Meanwhile, apart from the want to sign Jack just because he’s a ‘Brady’ or because of his height, people also commented about their looks. And a fan wrote, “Looks just like you,” as he saw the GOAT’s resemblance in his son. What wouldn’t the Pats give to just get Tom Brady back? And this is the closest they would be getting—his son, Jack. But how good is the 17-year-old Brady? While many wanted the Pats to sign him, some posed a valid question like this fan, who summed it up the best. But how does he throw a football? Patriots could use a guy in a few years… What yah say Tommy Boy?!”

But, these are just fans’ wishes. However, don’t be surprised if Jack shows up in full gear—helmet, pads, and cleats—someday in the future. For now, though, he’s busy beating Tom Brady in one-on-ones!

What’s your perspective on:

Can Jack Brady live up to the immense legacy of his father, Tom Brady?

Have an interesting take?

Tom Brady’s least favorite thing about Jack!

“I love spending every minute with you and I cherish our time together.” These were a few lines of the 100 words that Tom Brady typed in his caption for his son, Jack. Let’s be honest, for a birthday post, we saw it coming. But he did not just mention his favorite things, he also brought out the funny side when he wrote his ‘least favorite thing’. That’s getting beaten by his son at golf!

We all know golf is a favorite among pro athletes. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce? They swung it on the green during the offseason. Aaron Rodgers? He was at the Celebrity Championship at Lake Tahoe just before preseason camp in July. And, of course, Tom Brady, the gridiron guru, has his swing game down too. His exploits with a helmet are legendary, but did you know he’s also good at golf? In 2020, Brady played in The Match and joined the prestigious Seminole Golf Club. Not only that! At the Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February 2024, Brady didn’t shine as brightly and he was in the limelight. Imagine how good he must be for the gold critics to wake up and question his skills on it when his whole life revolved around pigskin. With a handicap index of 8 per Golf.com, he’s no slouch.

But here’s the twist. His son, Jack, is now beating him on the course! Brady joked, “My least favorite is that you can beat me in one on one now 🙄😂.” The tables have turned, and it’s clear that age is just a number in golf. With experience and skill, you can keep playing. But at 17, Jack is already besting his dad.

So, could this mean that the Patriots fans might see a dream fading even before it took off? We shall see, but by the looks of it, Jack may just choose the irons over the gridiron!
