Retired NFL legend Shannon Sharpe is quick to spot quality players. After the Dallas Cowboys’ embarrassing 42-10 loss, Sharpe’s conviction gained more traction as an almost unexpected young 49ers quarterback threw his career-high four touchdowns, earning a passer rating of 144.2. Shannon Sharpe isn’t the only one sharing this view; Richard Sherman and Peter King have also expressed their belief that the rising quarterback should most definitely be the frontrunner to win MVP.
