“Pathetic”: Skip Bayless Unleashes His Frustration Over Jimmy Garoppolo’s Costly Mistake, Worrying Davante Adams

Skip Bayless is known for his outrageous remarks and taking jibes at players. He’s a sturdy customer who gives his open opinion on everything going around in the NFL. Recently, he took potshots at the Las Vegas Raiders as they lost against the Detroit Lions. Bayless pointed out two culprits who had a rare off day and weren’t up to the mark.

The criticism came shortly after the Raiders fell to the Lions. The Las Vegas side lost its fifth game of the season. Skip Bayless, who was siding with the Raiders team came down hard on its players. It wasn’t a great day for the Vegas team and missed several opportunities. Bayless too expressed the frustration and took to platform X to highlight the flaws. He singled out two players in particular who fell short of Bayless’ expectations.

Skip Bayless comes down hard on Jimmy G and Adams

After today’s morning loss against the Lions. Long-standing Raiders fan and analyst Skip Bayless wasn’t at all happy about the turn of events. The renowned anchor is well-known for voicing his strong views on the players. This time he took out the match’s frustration on the team’s QB Jimmy G. and the WR Davante Adams. Bayless was visibly shocked by the match stats and the game strategies used in the game between the offensive players. He pointed out the same via his tweet on the platform X.

Bayless wasn’t too amused with the QB missing the WR too wide open. Moreover, he also questioned Davante’s tactics as he could only manage a solitary catch in the entire game. He asked the poking questions about Jimmy’s ability to throw the ball out of the pocket which he clearly failed. It was a matchup that was pinned in the Raiders’ favor but they crashed out as the game progressed. Lions finally won with a 28-16 score as they overhauled their struggles to beat their opposition.

Las Vegas Raiders take a beating from Detroit Lions

Detroit Lions have brought their absolute best in the 2023 season. With 5 wins out of the seven games, they snapped another one. However, it wasn’t an ideal game as per the Lions’ standards but they managed a win against a hapless Raiders offense. Lions not only turned the ball over thrice but also committed a pick-six to tie the game in the second half.

But the standout part was the Lions’ defense- safe as houses! They were a lot hot to handle for one of the best QBs- Jimmy G. The QB tried repeatedly in vain as the Detroit side churned out a 6-sack performance. It was a defensive masterpiece as the Raiders kept reeling after the second quarter.

However, the Lions’ offense came to the party in the fourth quarter. It included a 12-yard pass that nearly pushed the Lions toward the end of the red zone. However, the side’s defense made up for the ultimate fumble as they seized the game with a three-and-out. The Lions took only three plays to counterattack and extend their lead against the Raiders.
