Since retiring from football, Tom Brady has been busy exploring new sports ventures. One exciting project is his partnership with Hertz Team JOTA, a British sports car racing team. Brady’s brand, BRADY™, is featured prominently on the team’s car and is the official apparel partner. This partnership started last March when Brady’s clothing company began sponsoring the team.
Recently, Hertz Team JOTA celebrated a major win, taking first place in the FIA World Endurance Championship race at Spa-Francorchamps. Their Porsche 963, with its striking gold livery, crossed the finish line first due to some clever pit stop timing.
To mark the occasion, Tom Brady shared a heartfelt message on social media, congratulating the team and giving a special shoutout to his billionaire friend and fellow team owner. “In the middle of a great weekend of sports and competition I wanted to give a shoutout to @jota_sport @hertzracinggold and my friend @tomwagnerofficial on the WEC win in Spa today” Brady wrote. Notably, Tom Brady and billionaire Tom Wagner share a passion for sports ventures, co-owning multiple teams including the winning car racing team.

The lengthy caption continued to add, “Last year at this same race we had a difficult weekend, and went on to endure a a season full of challenges, often without a clear direction to turn. But everyone kept their head down, knowing we had the right people and partners, and today they’re standing on top of the podium. It’s a testament to what persistence and hard work can do for ANY team, and it’s only the beginning of what our group is going to accomplish on the track, pitch, and beyond. LFG!!!!” This win isn’t just a victory for the car racing team, it’s also a major crown in Brady’s growing business ventures.
Tom Brady and Tom Wagner expand their empire
Last year, Tom Brady partnered with Tom Wagner, a wealthy investor, to buy a stake in the English Birmingham soccer club. Wagner’s $10.3 billion dollar company, Knighthead Capital Management, also has connections with Hertz, leading to a collaboration between Brady and Wagner on both the soccer club and a car racing team.

The Birmingham City FC club recently won against Norwich. However, they still ended up in a lower league. Thus, the victory of Jota Sport is a bright spot for both Brady and Wagner. The celebrations don’t stop there for Brady. He also owns part of the Las Vegas Aces in the WNBA, the Las Vegas Raiders in the NFL, and even an electric boat racing team. With his list of sports investments are growing, it’s exciting to see what other opportunities Tom Brady will find in the future.
