Till now Netflix’s latest masterpiece “The Roast of Tom Brady” has been a ruthless laughfest. But it’s time for some confession session as Michigan alum, David Portnoy spilled some hard-hitting facts. On his YouTube podcast, BFFs: Dave Portnoy, Josh Richards & Bri Chickenfry, Portnoy expressed his disappointment for not getting a seat at the roast session.

Instead of him, the podcast hosts, Josh and Bri, got lucky. This left Portnoy heartbroken as he counted himself to be one of the closest confidants of the TB12 when he confessed, “no one even told me”. Based on this he came up with a strong claim.

Now that the world is going gaga over the Tom Brady Roast show, Portnoy is going through some FOMO. To add to his sadness, he found out that the other members of his podcast company, Josh and Bri, got their tickets to the live event featuring the NFL GOAT. As far as Portnoy is concerned, he didn’t receive any invitation nor did he even get the chance to know about the grand happening. On the podcast, disappointed Portnoy shared the truth, “I was not invited..no one even told me that was f*cking happening”

In case it was any other NFL legend, the Michigan alum would not have felt bad. But it was THE TOM BRADY with whom he carries years of friendship. To back up his feelings, Portnoy further stated, “I legit probably have more information on Brady than anybody on that panel…. I’m friends with everybody on the panel.” Even though Portnoy’s luck did not favor him, there have been some big figures in the Tom Brady roast who added to the evening with their presence.

Star-struck evening in Brady’s honor

Legendary quarterback, Peyton Manning dropped to share some laughs. The former Denver Broncos did take a shot at Brady quipping, “It is great to be here with a bunch of people sitting around, talking smack about Tom Brady”. Even though Manning’s visit came as a surprise, the TB12 had his answer ready. “Peyton, sometimes you live in Denver, sometimes you live in Louisiana, but you’ll always live in my shadow,” replied Brady.

In addition to Brady’s former teammates like Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski being in attendance, there were other surprises as well. The biggest surprise was the quarterback legend’s former New England Patriots coach, Bill Belichick. The Pats’ owner, Robert Kraft too did not shy away from the playful banter. Jim Harbaugh accompanied by his wife Sarah arrived at the Kia Forum on Sunday, May 5.

Hence, multiple NFL stars gathered under the same roof, all kudos to the GOAT, Tom Brady. The star-studded event was a fun watch, as the guests did not hold back sharing their jabs for Brady. However, fans were robbed of some Portnoy-Brady jest that would have added an invaluable touch to the session.
