Tom Brady also has a unique Michigan Wolverines connection. He played for the team back in the 1999 Citrus Bowl and even represented them in the 2000 Orange Bowl. The NFL giant owes his success to his development years playing as a QB in his early collegiate career.

Now, nearly 24 years later, having achieved everything on the field and pushed his name for a future HOF, the former QB gave a shoutout to his old team. Michigan Wolverines are playing their semifinal against the Alabama Crimson Tide tomorrow and will be looking to win the title. The 15X Pro-Bowler donned a wide smile and shared an emotional message for Jim Harbaugh and his side.

Tom Brady is a proud member of the Michigan Alumni and took the time to share a heartfelt message for Jim Harbaugh’s side. He took to platform X to motivate the youngsters and rally behind them. He shared an emotional yet inspiring set of words for winning the all-important game. “What’s up Michigan Alumni? Tom Brady here. I wanted to give you guys all a shoutout and all the Wolverines supporters out in Los Angeles for the game. I think we all have an incredibly special feeling about what this team is, and what they’re really about,” Brady spoke with enthusiasm.

He further continued the motivational message-“I’m proud of everything they’ve accomplished, especially beating the Buckeyes, but I know they’re not done yet. And I remember on New Year’s Day in 2000, we had a huge win against the ‘Bama team down in South Florida. And I know these guys can go out and do it again. So be loud out there in the Rose Bowl!” quoted Brady. He wanted the current crop of players featuring in the playoff game to draw inspiration from their year 2000 achievements.  Now hours out from the gran match, Michigan is itching to make things count.

The Jim Harbaugh side has been invincible this season. The latter half of the tournament was painstaking with controversies surrounding their performances. However, they still found a way to score heavily and walk out with a win even with their HC serving a three-match ban. They start as the favorites to win at the Rose Bowl.
