NFL legend Tom Brady seems to leave no stone unturned in spreading his influence. This time the football big shot has come up with advice for another stalwart not in football, but in the NBA. The Boston Celtics giant, Al Horford has now come under the TB12’s charm as he has been fortunate enough to get career-prolonging guidance and secret to NBA longevity from Brady.
A few days back, Horford’s team did get a moral boost with an inspirational NBA finals message. But this time, the center followed the path of the GOAT from another sport to win his first NBA championship. Horford thought it wise to seek advice from legendary QB, Brady. Having lifted seven Lombardi Trophies — six of them during his time with the Patriots, the GOAT’s impact has seemed to have transcended boundaries, leaving an impact not only in football but every sport.
However, apart from his gridiron antics what drew Horford toward Brady was his extreme regard for health and fitness and particularly the TB12 method. Going by the insights put forward by Jay King from The Athletic, Horford who turned 38 on Monday, June 3 looked forward to extending his career. Hence, the center discussed nutrition, hydration and workout regimens with Brady.

Besides, the NFL legend it was his fitness and nutrition advisor Alex Guerrero, the injury prevention company “TB12” co-founder who came up with important insights for Horford. “For me, it was, like, how can I fit that into my lifestyle? How can I take some of this stuff and use it to my benefit?”, was the query that the Celtics star had.
While Brady made it clear that following him blindly would not work for Horford which led the Celtics’ key contributor to adhere to a more flexible approach as he indicated that his diet was never as strict as Brady’s. However, Horford has been not the only one to receive the TB12’s word of advice as earlier Brady addressed the whole Boston Celtics team.

Key elements in Brady’s winning formula for the Celtics
The Boston Celtics are on an important mission to win an 18th title in the NBA Finals that is starting on June 6, Thursday at TD Garden. It was at this crucial moment Brady pitched in to give a moral boost to the program. During the latest episode of the Celtics’ “All In” docuseries released during Boston’s playoff run, it was the TB12 who stole the video with his surprise cameo at the beginning.
With the Celtics match set against the Dallas Mavericks, the GOAT offered his own thoughts on what a champion means. His vocal tonic started with, “Being a champion is a desire to achieve. A lot of people want to be in that big moment, but they’re very fearful of what comes when they don’t get it done the way they want.”

Celtics too are no exception but not to worry Brady has presented a blueprint to claim the title, “The mindset is always, ‘no fear’ and to prove to everybody how much they trust each other, how much they care about one another, and to prove the desire they have to accomplish something that nobody will ever be able to take away from you.”
Now that Brady has motivated the Boston Celtics and even guided their giant Al Horford with his mission, fans have lofty expectations to find him with his signature smile and beaming personality in the stands during the finals at TD Garden. However, Brady has some important events lined up for the next week since he is set to return to New England on June 12 for his Patriots Hall of Fame ceremony. All fingers crossed!
