The Colorado native may not have a long experience as an NFL head coach. But he had been involved in assistant coaching posts for several NFL teams since his internship in 2005 with the Denver Broncos. In his debut season with the Dolphins, he led the team to the playoffs, becoming the fifth of 11 coaches in the team’s history to get a playoff appearance.
One of the best things he did was mold several players, including QB Tua Tagovailoa and WR Tyreek Hill, to achieve career milestones. WR Jaylen Waddle is also thriving under McDaniel’s coaching.
