Mocking sessions follow the Controversy King Antonio Brown everywhere. On May 12, Brown hosted the famous Cheetah of the NFL, the great Tyreek Hill. As fans expected some Tyreek Hill vs. Kadarius Toney heated fare, Hill refused to pass any negative remark about his latest competitor. Instead, he adhered to a diplomatic stance.

However, Brown, being Brown, did make out something interesting from Hill’s analysis. According to AB, all this niceness that Hill portrays is a side-effect of his “marriage.” This interview gave fans a chance to revisit the stats comparison of Hill and Toney.

Why Brown mocks Hill for his marriage?

When Hill appeared as a guest on Brown’s CTESPN podcast, little did he know that he would be mocked about his marriage out of everything else. But again it is AB, always up with surprises. At first Brown threw Hill an interesting question, “What about Kadarius Toney? Is he alright? With cheetah?” To this, “Cheetah” came up with a diplomatic answer failing to add live by Brown’s interests, “I shouldn’t answer that (starts laughing)…Nah I’m gonna say this bro. I don’t down people bro…In the right system, he is alright..”

As a result of this statement, Hill was immediately charged by Brown for his niceness. Giving a clear picture of the reason behind his change in attitude, he claimed that all this transpired after his “I do” vows. A disappointed AB retorted back, “Oh sh*t marriage took you out”. Meanwhile, Toney carries the heavyweight of Hill’s impact in the Kansas City Chiefs.

Close view of the Hill vs. Toney debate

Hill had long been Kansas City’s No. 1 receiver. Hence, while making subsequent changes, the Chiefs have been skeptical about whether the Chiefs’ subsequent additions would be enough. Back in 2022, they acquired 2021 first-round pick Toney from the New York Giants in exchange for a couple of draft picks. Toney proved his supremacy as he blazed a 4.39-second 40-yard dash at his Pro Day. On the gridiron, with a 10-catch, 189-yard outing against the Cowboys in Week 5, he did leave a deep impact.

There’s no guarantee that Toney will reach Tyreek Hill’s level, but the Chiefs may adhere to a Hill-like usage plan for him. Both have a similar playing style, provided that Toney, too, relies largely on his speed like the “cheetah”. Going by the records, Hill is 5-10, 191 pounds and he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.29 seconds, just 0.1 seconds faster than Toney.

Ignoring all the competition, Andy Reid has been one lucky HC to have had both the dynamo, Hill, and Toney in the Chiefs system. However, per the sources, the Chiefs have declined to pick up their fifth-year option on the wide receiver’s rookie contract. Will Toney now walk on Hill’s path? Let your speculations pour in!
