Kristen Saban, married to Adam Setas in 2014, is a mother to two beautiful kids, daughter Amelie Elizabeth and son James who is three years old. With her strong ties to football, she might be looking to propagate her father’s legacy. In a recent social media story, she shared her vision of a future with her son carrying the torch of football greatness.

Passion for the football sport runs high within the Saban family. Kristen’s social media showcases multiple pictures of the ex-Alabama coach spending time with his grandchildren. Having a strong bond with their seven-time national champion grand-dad, they are exposed to the game dynamics right from an early age. Even though James is far from deciding on his career, his mom seems optimistic about his ultimate destination being football like her father.

Kristen’s latest Instagram story mirrored a relatable and light-hearted perspective hinting at the aspirations that surround her son and the coaching legend’s grandson. The funny reel she shared on her Instagram story, depicted two girls who are engaged in busy action with their headsets on, each holding a file. The humorous caption reads, “Us in 10 years after we both have boys so we can raise the next NFL QB/TE duo”, along with her own personal touch, “Is this my future? Yep”

While the Instagram story is a playful take on the future, it hints at Nick Saban’s legacy and the family’s love deeply intertwined with the world of football.  As Alabama underwent a significant transformation post-Saban’s retirement, there seemed to be a shift in his household as well.

Kristen Saban’s surprising inclination toward basketball

Following Saban’s retirement, Kristen mockingly revealed her newfound passion for basketball on her Twitter account. In a hilarious proclamation, Saban’s daughter declared, “I no longer fret about football, so now I scream at basketball on TV. Row Tad.” The Sabans who arrived in Tuscaloosa in 2007, had accepted Nick Saban’s retirement. Previously in an interview, Kristen expressed it as a bittersweet moment, “It was sad, but I think we are at peace with it now. I don’t think I knew what to expect when we came in the day we flew in.”
