O.J. Simpson, the former running back for the San Francisco 49ers, has lived a life fallen from the stars. The NFL Hall of Famer was rightly considered one of the best running backs of all time. Unfortunately, on the fateful day of June 12, 1994, the trajectory of his life was changed drastically as he was accused of 2 murders.

Simpson’s ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman were brutally stabbed and Simpson was charged with the murders. His first trial ended in 1995 as he pleaded not guilty to all the charges and was later, acquitted. But the NFL hero was charged in 2008 yet again but for a different case of robbery and drawing a weapon. In an exclusive conversation with Dan Patrick, Simpson asked him the world-famous question and got a brave response.

On the latest episode of the ‘Calm Down with Erin and Charissa’ podcast, Dan Patrick, a famous TV personality, appeared as a guest. He talked about an instance where he was in a conversation with O.J. Simpson and had an intense interaction with him when Simpson asked him the million-dollar question, “You think I did it?”

Dan replied by asking, “Did what?”?and he did so to try to get Simpson to clearly say it. To which, Simpson answered, “Killed those people” and Patrick said yes in what could possibly be a heart-racing moment. Patrick also said that the conversation only occurred when he had to change the tapes and stop recording.

Simpson knows the entire world outside the courtroom and has always believed that he did commit those murders and thus, also knows about this question that is thrown around all the time. Simpson has led a life in and outside the penitentiary but he’s also had one of the best football careers ever.

Simpson had the hysterical nickname, ‘The Juice’, as he was known to be an energetic player and also because his initials could spell out orange juice. He had a life that saw him turn to crime several times but he proved his worth on the field. In 1973, Simpson became the only player to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a season. As such, he was also awarded the title of NFL’s Most Valuable Player.

He played with the Buffalo Bills for 8 seasons before retiring with the 49ers after two seasons. Though he was never able to win a Super Bowl in his 11-season career, he will go down as one of the most talented players of his time. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985 and 10 years later, he was fighting for his innocence. O.J. Simpson is a household name that every American knows too well as a legendary star who fell off and ruined his life.
