Post-retirement periods have given the gridiron stars to channel their inner hobbies, venturing into unknown territories. From podcasts to broadcasting, SB winners Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski have tied their hands at all the things they missed out on during the time they sacrificed to master their dexterity over football.
Safe to say, the things that retired athletes do are many. Hence, to make the checklist quick for their fans, these former Patriots teammates hopped on an Instagram trend and absolutely crushed it.

Making the perfect use of the free time on their hands, Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman listed out all things they do as ‘retired athletes’. The only spin on it: they did it the Gen Z style. They started each of their sentences with “We’re retired athletes” and weaved a whole summary of their present circumstances around it. Starting off strong they mentioned, “Get a job from TV,” followed by, “Tease a comeback.”

And the saga hence continued. “Watch our old highlights. Start a podcast. Get a gambling deal. Gonna live in California or Florida. Act like we can still play. Sauna or cold baths. Gonna call a league ‘soft’ because it is. Bring up how many rings we have. Still gonna stay ripped,” were the go-to things.
Ironically, most of them are in the headlines for activities from this list. Rob Gronkowski, for instance, makes an appearance on some or the other podcast frequently. Edelman, too, makes headlines for his comments on shows. But Tom Brady has done it the best. Out of all the facts they stated, Brady might have most of them all checked.

Per Gronk’s first statement, Tom Brady has already secured a hefty $3775 million deal with Fox News as their broadcaster for 10 years, something that the ex-QB is reportedly ‘getting out of his comfort zone’ for developing.
Then Brady not only teased a comeback after his first retirement but also executed it. In a recent episode of ‘Let’s Go!’ Brady mentioned him wanting to drop another bomb on his comeback, but his friends flopped the idea. This leads to his next venture, as a podcast host. In the first year of his retirement, the Patriots legend initiated a podcast with Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gary called ‘Let’s Go!’

The ‘calling the league soft’ is something that Brady got in trouble over, and speaking of being ripped, well, his shirtless pictures speak for themselves.
