Three years after training under the guidance of Valente Brothers, the $400 million heiress has won her purple belt in the sport. The purple belt in the BJJ is given to the fighter who has garnered a significant amount of experience. It’s reserved for intermediate-level practitioners and falls under the third level of marital arts mastery.

Bündchen, now nearly 44 years old, looks as imperious as ever because of her fitness levels. She took to Instagram to highlight her happiness for earning the purple belt earlier this week. She wrote: “I am now a purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu. Thank you, Valente Brothers. Congratulations, Valente Brothers, on your 30th birthday. Your discipline and values ​​are inspired.”

The martial arts form of sport is a key facet in the supermodel’s life, as it keeps her fit and agile. She also expressed her emotions regarding the self-defense aspect of the sport. She highlighted the essence of training in the sport and how it helps her build confidence.

I believe the more tools we have in our toolbox the better. I feel stronger, more confidence, and empowered since I started practicing self-defense. I feel it’s an important skill for all, but specially for us women. Thank you Valente brothers for being awesome teachers and for making training so much fun. I am looking forward to keep improving,” she said.
