In a recent YouTube episode on Well Off Media, Coach Prime gets together with Peyton Manning and Jim Harbaugh. In their discussion, they hit an interesting topic where Deion Sanders asked his fellow legends what their best Super Bowl memory is. Harbaugh recalled his first and only SB appearance as the 49ers HC with a tinge of regret. He admitted, “It torments me to this day.”

Also called the Blackout Bowl because of a partial power outage in the Superdome, the Super Bowl XLVII was a matchup against his brother John Harbaugh’s Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens started strong with a 21-6 lead before halftime but the 49ers under QB Colin Kaepernick retaliated with 17 third-quarter points to score 28-23. In the end, the Ravens triumphed 34-31 leaving the former 49ers HC in regret to this day. This incomplete SB race is one of the major reasons why Jim Harbaugh came back to the NFL after leading the Michigan Wolverines to a National Championship victory.
