Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce have their minds set on the possibilities of how they can name their 4th daughter. And all we can say is that the Kelce couple are following in the footsteps of their Kansas City counterparts. Yes, that’s right, as Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes welcome their third child, Golden Raye Mahomes. The Kelce’s may have copied something out of Patrick and Brittany’s way of naming their children.

Well, you might already know that the couple shared one daughter, Sterling Skye, and a son, Patrick Bronze Lavon Mahomes III before Golden Raye joined them on Jan 12. So, can you spot a similarity between the names Brittany and Patrick have chosen for their kids? Umm, let’s just say each of them does sound gender-neutral. Although, we can’t say for sure as the KC couple haven’t spoken willingly in public about their children’s names. It does bore a striking resemblance to what Kylie is trying with her 4th daughter.

On the January 9 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast, Kylie spoke candidly about her troubles coming up with a name for their upcoming baby girl: “Going on the 4th child. It’s like a disaster. You’ve already used them all up. All bets are off.” Kylie is also a mother of three daughters, Wyatt, Elliott, and Bennett.

So, like previous occasions, Kylie isn’t interested in breaking the trend of using gender-neutral names: “We’re doing a little crossover action. I feel like we have to lean a little bit towards those sort of gender-neutral names for our fourth.” Well, she even gave the reason why she is going with gender-neutral names to avoid trouble between her daughters: “Because we have Wyatt, Elliot, Bennett—so if we do a full commit to a girly name at this point. It would not sit well with the other three.”

While the Kelce’s still find themselves figuring out a name for their 4th daughter, Brittany Mahomes has finally given birth to her third child with a heart-warming post on Instagram.

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes celebrate parenthood for the third time

Let’s go back in time for a moment before celebrating Golden Raye’s arrival in the Mahomes household. You must remember the Chiefs’ Christmas Day clash against the Steelers. Well, that game wasn’t just significant for the Chiefs in their quest to secure the bye week and the No.1 seed from the AFC. It was also equally crucial for Brittany, who was expecting her third child anytime soon.

Mahomes even told Kay Adams how she is constantly worried about when the baby will arrive, “Brittany says I’ve been stressing her out too much this season. So, I got to try to not put so much stress on her through these football games. Hopefully, God works the right way and we can have that baby on the bye week somewhere, and then everything will work out perfectly.” Considering how things did play out, Mahomes did get his wish of having his third baby on the bye week.

The Chiefs QB, after securing that No.1 seed, even said how he fulfilled his promise to Brittany: “I told my pregnant wife. I was gonna get her the number one seed so we can go have that baby. So we got that number one seed.” And after a few weeks, Brittany did give birth as the couple announced on Instagram, “Golden Raye Mahomes. 1/12/25.” In a joint post, they shared a black-and-white post where both Mahomes and Brittany were holding their second daughter.

Like what you can even say about Patrick Mahomes, he is truly blessed, after all. And we are not just talking about his success on the gridiron but also off it. So we can’t help but ask! Is Mahomes welcoming his third kid a positive omen for the Chiefs’ chances of securing a three-peat? Well, it could, considering how his 2025 has started with welcoming a member of his family.
