Did you know the Philadelphia Eagles’ legendary trio is releasing a new album of ‘A Philly Special Christmas’ this year? Before revealing the release date, let me tell you that in this year’s album, a Grammy Award-winning artist will join Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson, and Jordan Mailata. In a recent video, the Eagles’ star was enjoying the vibe in recording with the iconic voice of Rock icon and former Fleetwood Mac member Stevie Nicks.
The former Eagles’ Center was seen in an Instagram reel having a great time with a big smile. Though he has good experience in singing and recording, he admitted at the start of the recording, “Now I’m nervous, I did not do my vocal warm-up”. Kelce looked nervous before singing when Stevie Nicks encouraged him, saying, “You just sing what exactly you are singing”. He further confessed his gratitude for recording with the 76-year-old star, “This is my dream come true. I’m glad we are turning this into a full-on recording session”. Jason and Stevie Nicks recorded a cover of Ron Sexsmiths‘ ‘Maybe this Christmas‘ for Kelce’s annual festive album.

“You have no idea how cool that just was,” Jason said to the legendary singer after listening to her melodic voice. He also said, “I never thought I’d ever in a million years be on a song with Stevie Nicks. So, this is incredible.” At the start of the video clip, the 37-year-old was surprised and smiled upon hearing Nick’s beautifully harmonious voice.

Nicks called this Christmas song Kelce’s own “Landslide“, referencing her song with Fleetwood Mac. The former Eagles’ linebackers have already collaborated with Boyz II Men to do ‘It’s Christmas Time’ for the same.
Jason Kelce’s A Philly Special Christmas: More than an album
In terms of economic impact, the album raised over 3 million dollars in 2023 for the Philadelphia-based charity. So this time, the former safety’s strength is set to reach more heights and spread happiness in Christmas by charity as well. Also, the money generated from the album is donated to the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
