Shannon Sharpe talks about one of his most fearful experiences ever. The former tight end for the Denver Broncos has had a revolutionary career of over 14 seasons. Since being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, he’s transitioned into the role of a sports commentator and has built quite a reputation for himself.

Sharpe is often known to be one of the tightest ends of the sport. The 55-year-old is a controversial figure for the harsh opinions he has about the teams and the players. With Stephen A. Smith as his partner, the duo has been known to be quite relentless on the field. But in his recent episode, he talked about the incident that scared the 3-time Super Bowl winner straight.

On the recent episode of the Nightcap show, Sharpe talked about an incident that occurred when he went to the famous MGM Vegas venue for a special show. But while he had some of the best seats in the house, there were a few lions and tigers that walked right past him.

He said, “I could have touched it. I could have touched them and all of them are white tigers and even Lions coming down the aisle uhuh I was like oh my god.” Thus, while Shannon Sharpe is a strong, muscular man who’s dealt with his fair share of fears when it comes to lions and tigers, he’s afraid of them just like the average man. But people should be careful not to mistake him for being a soft person, as was witnessed when he went off on Bill Belichick and Jim Harbaugh for their cheating controversies.

Sharpe relentlessly calls out Belichick and Jim Harbaugh

This season of the NCAA witnessed one of their biggest controversies when Jim Harbaugh, the coach for the Michigan team, was accused of stealing signs from rival teams. He was later released from his contract and was compared to the great Bill Belichick of the Patriots, who has also been at the head of the same sign-stealing scandal.

Sharpe called out to both coaches when he said, “Americans don’t like cheaters. They don’t. They want to believe that what they’re seeing at home is that that person beat you because that team is better than you. Not because you did something that’s against the rules. ” These teams end up having a glorious season, but illicit activity on the management’s end leaves a stain on the reputation and is put on trial every time their success is doubted. With the sign-stealing cheat continuing to persist in the league, it will be interesting to see if the league makes any major efforts to put an end to it.
