On the November 16 episode of The Rich Eisen Show, Hollywood star Ronny Chieng was all praises for the legendary coach. He praised him for being thorough in his planning and doing everything to win the games. It was just cheerful praising him. But his proposal left everyone stunned.
While taking his dream move, he said, “I think they should rename Madden Belichick. That’s my hot take.” The video game, based on the HoF coach and commentator John Madden’s life, is a huge hit among football fans. It has sold more than 130 million copies and is developed by EA series worth ‘$42 billion. However, the Patriots ex-HC’s career is also exemplary. But it would be a tribute worth remembering for many more decades.

Bill Belichick has won enough trophies in his career that a game could be made on him. At the Patriots, he won 6 Super Bowls with Tom Brady. It’s an NFL record. Also, the fans voted him to be the head coach of the NFL 2000s All-Decade Team and NFL 2010s All-Decade Team. That’s dominance.

The Hollywood star has been a huge fan of the legendary coach his whole life. He read many books about him and followed his philosophies. One of the best things he learned was to let go of the past or future and stay in the moment. But there were also a few traits that he noticed in the coach.

His respect for him increased when he saw Bill Belichick build the Patriots carefully. While comparing him to an Asian parent, Chieng added, “He’s so Buddhist about football, and he’s so strict and he doesn’t, you know, he rarely cracks a smile. This guy’s an Asian parent man.” Well, that’s right.
While we agree that the coach is a hard taskmaster. But there’s this thing as well. In the NFL, you are playing against the best footballers in the world. There’s no way you can win so many trophies and write your name in the history books without working hard. Just look where the franchise has fallen after his powers were cut. It happens. He has given countless memories to his fans.
