Shannon Sharpe makes shocking revelations about Bill Belichick

Uncle Sharpe did not hold back on his thoughts during the latest episode of ‘Nightcap’. Sharpe expressed his concerns about Belichick from the past. “Coach Belichick was so arrogant,” said an exasperated Sharpe. “He was so ‘I can do this my way’. He hired people that was unqualified for the position that they were in.” Following this, Uncle Sharpe went on to list all the recruits by the Patriots’ head coach, which was quite faulty.
Uncle Sharpe kicked off the list with Matt Patricia, followed by Matt Jones’s dip in performance and confidence. Moreover, Sharpe seemed pretty confident about Belichick and the Patriots not winning anytime soon with Jones. All in all, Sharpe made his point crystal clear by scooping out the example of Tom Brady.

Shannon Sharpe believes it was better with Tom Brady

Well, Uncle Sharpe does not shy away from putting his thoughts out there. Which was something he did when it came to Belichick. It seemed that Sharpe was just as done with Coach Belichick as the rest of the analysts who were on the same page. Moreover, Sharpe believed that Tom Brady’s records should be credited to him alone and not to Belichick.

“I think one of the reasons why Tom Brady gets so much credit because we see how it looks without him,” confessed Sharpe. Well, Brady, during his tenure with the Patriots, led the team to become the team with the most Super Bowl wins (along with the Steelers). Belichick, on the other hand, has failed to deliver a decent season since Brady left. However, the Patriots are not letting Belichick out so soon, given his secretive contract renewal during the off-season as per NFL insider Ian Rapoport. What is your take on it?
