Tom Brady, the NFL legend, talks about his childhood issues related to growing up with three sisters. The 46-year-old former QB for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers retired from the sport officially in February. Since then, he has remained a hot topic in the world of football, as fans can’t get enough of the six-time Super Bowl winner.
Brady is one of the all-time greats in the history of the sport, if not the very best. He’s had a glorious 23-season career, and his exit from the field left a void in the fans’ hearts that remains to be filled. But while he’s focusing on enjoying the finer things in life, an old essay of his depicts his childhood and the issues he had with his sisters.

Brady was raised as the youngest brother out of four siblings. His three older sisters, Maureen, Julie, and Nancy, were seemingly self-absorbed and wouldn’t really focus on what young Brady was doing. While it sounds sad, Brady’s issues with his sister far exceed these equations. Per Brady, “All three were very close to each other” and “always seemed to get along“; thus “he happened to be the odd man out“.
In his essay, Brady iterated, “The one and only thing that bothered me about my sisters’ accomplishments was that people only recognized me when my sisters were around.” All three of his sisters were renowned athletes who excelled in sports like softball, football, and basketball. Thus, it’s apparent they heavily influenced Brady, and he went on to become the best football player the world has ever seen. But as his time as a player has come to an end, the fans haven’t had their share of the number 12 athlete and want him back as a coach instead.
Will Brady ever return to the NFL as a coach?
As of now, the official answer is no. Brady hasn’t denied or accepted any offers of potential moving towards a coaching career. And yet he is not too distant from the sport that made him who he is today.
