When Gisele Bundchen was about to give birth to her first baby, Benjamin, her mother had come to be by her side all the way from Brazil. Her mother stayed in their guest bedroom, and having her there made the model feel secure. “I don’t trust anyone else with Benjamin,” she once stated. But in January 2024, Bundchen had to let go of her security blanket. Her mother had passed away from cancer. She was 75.
She had shared the news with an emotional message in 2024. “Beloved mom. It hurts to know that I won’t be able to hug you anymore. But I know that you will always be watching over us. You were an angel on earth, always helping everyone around you.” Gisele also added how she remains a true role model in her life growing up, “I am so grateful to be your daughter and to have learned from you. Thank you for being the best role model of love, strength, compassion, courage, and grace.”
It is now a year since her passing and so, on January 28, Bundchen took to her Instagram story to remember her mother’s first death anniversary. Sharing a heartwarming sun-kissed pic of her mother, Vania Nonnenmacher, Bundchen wrote, “Mom, it’s been a year today since you left us, you are really missed here. Thank you for being the greatest example of love, kindness, charity, strength and courage. I love you always and forever! ♥️”

Gisele Bundchen had also shared a few posts about her mom on her 1-month death anniversary, expressing how much she still misses her. On her first post back on Feb 28, 2024, they were sharing a cute side hug as Gisele wrote, “1 month without you, mom. Miss you very much.”
She then followed it with another post of her smiling while looking at the camera. She also remembered her mom on Mother’s Day. But now as Bundchen tries to honor her mother on a special day, her ex-husband Tom Brady didn’t really have a great start to his new year either.
Tom Brady was left flabbergasted after hearing Gisele Bundchen’s news…
Do you know what the GOAT is up to these days after getting divorced from Gisele Bundchen? Brady can either be found serving his duties as a FOX broadcaster, or adapting to his new role as the minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. But he still tries to give time whenever he can to his three kids, Benjamin, Vivian, and Jack.

Like on New Year’s Eve, Brady expressed how he couldn’t have hoped for a better start to 2025 by spending some quality time with his kids. “I couldn’t have imagined a better way to ring in the new year than with the loves of my life. Reflecting on last year and thinking about the year ahead, there’s no better perspective than looking at these three and always trying to be better for them each day, and helping to guide them in whatever way possible. I’m so grateful for the experiences, blessings, family, friends, and everyone else who has impacted me along the way.
“I’m so blessed to have joy and gratitude in my life. No year ever goes exactly the way we want, but when I think about 2024, I could not have imagined anything better. So many new experiences that I got to share with amazing people, especially the three beautiful angels in these photos,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
However, their mother and Brady’s ex-wife were nowhere to be seen in their celebrations. Gisele Bundchen is set to welcome a new child with her new boyfriend, Joaquim Valente. And when that news broke at the end of October, Brady was supposedly stunned. A source told ‘US Weekly’, Brady’s reaction was “hard to digest at first.” However, he eventually accepted the news, “Gisele is a great mom and was destined to be a mom.”

Considering the fact that they were married for 13 years, it is surely difficult for either of them. Regardless, their children remain their biggest priority.
