Recently, when speaking on the Buffaloes Primetime Radio Show, he shared his thoughts on reading coaches. He said “A lot of other guys they hadn’t won. So yeah you sit up there and watch coaches with all the fanfare, all the glitz, the glamor, and glory in your child. He said alright I don’t get intoxicated with this foolishness!” 

For Deion Sanders, he was a maverick in both baseball and football throughout his playing career. Now he followed the same in his coaching stint as well. Sharing his honest thoughts on what goes inside a coach’s mind. The 8X Pro-Bowler shed light on another vital aspect. “You gotta dial them back in sure and check them. And make sure you’re there straight in there in there proper leadership role.”

The 2X SWAC Coach of the Year highlighted how coaches must lead the way for their team and get back to the work once done with the victories. Such has been the Coach’s influence, that there is now a special TV show to celebrate his achievements.
