Rob Gronkowski never did subtle. Whether it was spiking footballs like they owed him money or turning postgame interviews into comedy skits, the man thrived on going big. So when Gronk showed up bald last week—his iconic party-boy locks long gone—fans knew something was brewing. Turns out, his latest look wasn’t just a fashion statement; it was a symbol of something deeper—a commitment far bigger than football.
Gronk’s generous side has shown up again! After leaving many stunned with his new bald look, the former tight end once again won millions of hearts with his latest move. Recently, the 4-time Super Bowl champion drew much attention with his massive commitment to kids who are battling cancer.
Taking to his official Instagram, Gronk, who spent 9 seasons with the Patriots, dropped a huge update for kids. This time it was Gronkowski, 35, treating the kids of Gronk Nation. Along with sharing the short video clip, he gave a cheeky caption to his IG story post. “Doing it for the kids this morning!” he mentioned with bold letters in his post caption. With this, he also made a great commitment to the kids. “5K for Team Gronk Nation,” he mentioned in his IG story caption.

Not only this, in his second story, he also dropped another short video clip. It featured his Gronk Fitness club, which has been a one-stop shop for premium fitness equipment since 1990. In this post, he also tagged his brothers Chris Gronkowski and Gordie Gronkowski Jr. “It’s a LIFESTYLE we were born to live 😤,” he mentioned in the caption. With this post, he also showcased his excitement for the annual multi-sport event, the Arnold Sports Festival. “Comment ‘💪🏻’ if you want to see us back at @arnoldsports next year!” he further added in his post.
However, this is not the first time the former TE stole the limelight for his charity work this month. Recently, on 8 March, he also caught attention for his support to a cancer survivor kid named Mateo. At that moment, Gronk wore a t-shirt with the caption “No One Fights Alone”. It showcased his support for kids undergoing treatment for cancer. “Join me to help kids like Mateo!” he jotted down in his IG story post caption. Gronk also mentioned the event date, “June 1st,” and the ‘One Mission’ Instagram handle @onemissionofficial, motivating followers to get involved.
The NFL legend’s massive commitment for kids came soon after he made a bold statement addressing his never-ending comparisons with Chiefs TE Travis Kelce.

The retired NFL star who also played wearing jersey number 87, like Chiefs’ Kelce, appeared on the Dudes on Dudes with Gronk and Jules on Thursday. During this show, co-host and former Pats WR Julian Edelman asked him about the comparison with Travis, 35. “Are you sick of comparisons with Kelce?” Edelman asked. And then the ex-TE explained the differences between him and the Chiefs’ TE. He also explained why he didn’t believe either of them might achieve what the other could.

“It’s not a comparison. I mean, you can compare us, but we’re two different players, to tell you the truth. It all depends on what type of scheme you’re in.” Gronkowski stated. “We have two totally different skill sets by far — like, by far,” he asserted.
During the discussion, Rob also addressed Kelce’s exceptional route-running and receiver-like abilities, emphasizing how his own style of play focused on speed and overwhelming defenders. “He’s savvy at the top of the route,” Gronk stated. “I’m going to run, and I’m just going to go to the corner, and I’m going to outrun the guy, I’m going to use my body. I’m going to be physical in time — just throw the ball up and if the guy’s on me, I’m bigger than him, I’m going to use my body, box him out and just go up and catch the freaking ball, all right? Just throw me the ball. There was nothing more to it,” the ex-Buccaneers star added.

While drawing differences between him and Kelce, he also showered praise on the latter’s skills while highlighting his own. “This guy has like eight moves!” he added. “He’s like a wide receiver out there. So we’re two totally different players…if you brought him to the New England pitch, I don’t think he would be able to do what I was doing. He would be able to do it, but not to the capable level that I was able to do it at. So we’re different players, man, totally different players. He has mastered his skill set as well, just like I mastered my skill set and what I brought to the table,” he mentioned.
Rob Gronkowski’s latest act of generosity proves that while his days of spiking touchdowns may be over, his impact continues to hit hard where it matters most. Balancing his bold personality with a heart for giving, Gronk’s commitment to helping kids shows that his greatest victories now come off the field—one selfless step at a time. His generosity in praise for his fellow Tight End is no less impressive!
