Michael Strahan is preparing for the Super Bowl in his own way. While he hesitated a little as he revealed the team he would be rooting for come February 9, he is not shying away from keeping up his four-year tradition alive. Last year, the “Good Morning America” anchor teamed with fellow Giant Carl Banks to drop an MSX, an elevated collection of collectible apparel ahead of Super Bowl LVIII in Vegas to reflect the fashion and culture of the Sin City. And now they have come up with a similar tribute to New Orleans.

Between bold fashion statements and sideline drama, Strahan and Starter have blended the hues of Mardi Gras, the iconic streets of the French Quarter, and the excitement of game day to unleash their fourth collaborative collection and it’s a love letter to New Orleans.

The MSX by Michael Strahan x Starter lineup—varsity jackets, windbreakers, hoodies, and graphic tees—pops with Mardi Gras flair, Bourbon Street vibes, and nods to the city’s iconic culture. The Michael Strahan Brand posted two screenshots of a news article from Women’s Wear Daily announcing the launch.

“Our new MSX x Starter Super Bowl LIV limited edition drop is available now at @fanatics and @dickssportinggoods…,” the caption read. Carl Banks, President of G-III Apparel’s Sports Licensing Division, the manufacturing partner for the Starter brand. opened up the partnership with Strahan and the Strater brand and how it adds a unique flavor to the Super Bowl.

“Michael Strahan and Starter have built a relationship that transcends sports — it’s about connecting with fans and delivering designs that tell a story. This collection captures the vibrant culture of New Orleans and the excitement of Super Bowl LVIII in every piece,” Banks said.

Designer Brian Begley also returned for the fourth year with the collection and highlighted the local influences/ in the latest release. “Each piece in this year’s collection takes inspiration from the Big Easy’s colors, places, people, music, and culture. We even hid a few surprises in the designs,” he said. Well, to find out those surprises you can purchase these collections at Dick’s Sporting Goods, Fanatics, and the Super Bowl Experience, it’s a touchdown for fans craving game-day swag.

MSX is the athleisure offering within the Michael Strahan apparel collection that launched in 2015. One of the main ideas behind the cultural infusion and including various elements from the city is to make it a piece of collectible so that for fans, it becomes a piece of memory from the game.

Talking about the idea during last year’s launch Banks said, “No two Super Bowls are the same in this collection, and that’s what makes it a collectible.”

Strahan and Banks first teamed up in 2020 on a limited-edition Super Bowl capsule in honor of the NFL’s 100 season. The next year they expanded to a collection featuring apparel for all of the league’s 32 teams and have continued to grow since. Meanwhile, talking about the Super Bowl, Strahan had to reluctantly pick the team he would be backing for the title.

Strahan's fashion flair or Bradshaw's sideline antics—who's stealing the Super Bowl spotlight this year?

Have an interesting take?

In a conversation with The View co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin, Strahan said, “I dislike ‘em both!” when talking about which team he will support in the Super Bowl. He has a history with Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, as the two were part of the Giants team that won Super Bowl XLII in 2008. But he decided to opt for the Eagles on this occasion.

“You got my guy Saquon Barkley on the other end, and Jalen Hurts is a good friend of mine. So I look at them and I think how incredible their seasons have been, and I think that both of those guys do the right thing all the time, and they’re great examples—not saying the guys at Kansas City aren’t—but I would love to see those two win a ring,” he mentioned.

But Strahan isn’t the only one making waves. Starter’s rolling out exclusive events, like a star-studded Crown Royal bash featuring Juvenile and Mannie Fresh. Plus, their Visa-backed pop-up shop on Canal Street opens February 1, flaunting limited-edition gear. Talk about a first-down frenzy!

With its deep roots in sports culture, Starter is making sure its legacy stays strong on the biggest stage. While Strahan dresses the part… Bradshaw’s tackling a different kind of prep work: damage control.

Terry Bradshaw’s mea culpa: a lesson in sideline etiquette

Remember Bradshaw’s 2023 Super Bowl quip telling Andy Reid to “waddle on over here” and “have a cheeseburger”? Yeah, that didn’t sit well with Chiefs Nation. “Oh, I am the worst there is,” Bradshaw admitted to PEOPLE. He called Reid the next day, groveling: “I had no idea I’d create such a storm.”

Reid laughed it off, but Bradshaw’s learned his lesson. “Fans are very protective of their football team. I’m an outsider, so therefore I don’t have a right to say that, and I get it,” he said. With Kansas City eyeing a historic three-peat, Bradshaw’s vowed to keep his jokes light and breezy this time. But can he resist a playful jab? The stakes are higher than a Bourbon Street balcony.

Bradshaw knows a thing or two about back-to-back wins—he nailed it twice with the Steelers. But a third straight ring? “The hardest thing to do is to three-peat,” he said. “Everybody guns for you… wants to beat you. Everybody rallies in the glory of beating the Steelers… It’s exhausting, mentally exhausting.” Once skeptical, he now admits, “Now I’m saying to myself, ‘They’ve proven me wrong’… It’s going to be a tough task for them, but now I’m convinced.”

Post-game interviews are Bradshaw’s spotlight, and he’s scripting a smoother routine. “I’ll ask a fun question or I’ll do something that gets them involved in the telecast. I’ll try to have some fun with them,” he shared. No cheeseburger jokes—just pure celebration. And when he’s not on-air, he’s hitting the road with The Terry Bradshaw Show, mixing country tunes and touchdowns for fans in Branson, Niagara Falls, and beyond. Meanwhile, Strahan’s fashion game is unstoppable.

His collection’s hidden designs and retro Starter logos are flying off shelves, blending sports nostalgia with NOLA’s soul. From the Convention Center’s Super Bowl Experience (Feb. 5-8) to Strahan’s Instagram, it’s a full-court press of style.
