Does Brady's attachment to his memorabilia reveal a deeper emotional side to the NFL legend?

Struggles are part of everyone’s lives, and it appears Tom Brady is no exception. Despite being a legend, the man got to do some lower-level tasks too in his career. The great recently discussed these topics and stated that he once wore the Eagles’ kit after being traded to Tampa Bay. The quarterback used it for 1 whole year but it never became a major problem.

Tom Brady shared this kit tale with Sotheby’s. The former quarterback claimed that it was his first year after the transfer, and his helmet was not ready. As a result, the quarterback scratched the Eagles logo off his old helmet and wore it. It was never reported to the public because it was used during off-season practice but for one whole year. Brady then explained why his Tampa Bay helmet was not made. The man stated, “I couldn’t get a helmet made because it was during Covid.”

The guy also accomplished some great things over those two years before hanging up his boots after the 2023 season. Although this helmet tale was little, Tom Brady considers it to be the beginning of his retirement planning.
