Jones was selected by the Patriots as a first-round pick in 2012. Since then, it has been a roller coaster for him. Well, the very first adrenaline rush on his enthralling journey came when he first met Tom Brady on the practicing grounds of the Patriots.“Tom came up to me and said, ‘Hey Chandler Jones, pleasure to have you on the team’. Soon as he walked away from me, I called my mom and dad and said ‘F**k S**t Tom Brady knows my name'”, confessed Jones.

From his confession, Brady’s attitude towards his co-players during his reign, even if they were rookies, is evident. While his introductory conversation might have come as an intimidating move for the new-to-the-league players, his inherent leader only wanted to keep the team functioning as a unit.
