Should Terry Bradshaw step down from Fox NFL Sunday after his repeated on-air blunders?

Over the past year, Hall of Famer defensive end Michael Strahan had dark clouds hovering above his daughter Isabella’s life. Seeing her go down with cancer saw Strahan go through a painful experience. None of the parents would like to see their kids suffer the way Michael’s daughter did in her recovery journey. At one time, he even feared for her death, watching her not being able to walk or talk like normal people.

Although Michael Strahan’s daughter is now slowly coming back to her usual lifestyle, she remains in recovery. Her journey to become cancer-free was led by three surgeries, six weeks of radiation therapy, and four rounds of chemo. She is now relearning how to properly walk, talk and even gain some weight she lost in all of that, “She has worked so hard and with amazing spirit. And she is still on a journey with her vision balance and getting her weight back.” per Michael.

Seeing her daughter go through such pain led to Michael having thoughts of her not being able to make it through, “Yes, as a parent, you hear that your kid has cancer and you go. Whoa. You have to control your thoughts because your brain thinks of the worst-case scenario, and then you work your way back from there. I don’t think I’ll go through the rest of my life without some worry in some shape or form about this.” As fear of his daughter’s death lingered at the back of Michael’s mind. He even gave his thoughts on a possible retirement heading down the line.

“I’ve always had those thoughts. I’m not planning on retiring anytime soon. I will at some point, and I’d like to say a lot sooner than a lot of people probably think I will. When I do it, it will be because I just want to have the freedom to be with her and her sister, and her other sister and brother. Wherever they are, whatever they’re doing. I want to be there.” Although the Fox NFL Sunday presenter isn’t thinking about retirement anytime soon, his co-host Terry Bradshaw could be counting his final days in the studio.

Amid Michael Strahan’s retirement confession, fans urge Terry Bradshaw to retire

It’s been 3 decades since the 4-time Super Bowl Champion started his journey on Fox Sports Network. Taking upon that role on Fox NFL Sunday, Bradshaw expressed, “It’s a great day because now I don’t have to pretend.” But now it seems his time on Fox’s hot seat is probably coming to an end. His repeated mistakes have caught fans’ attention, thereby calling for him to retire. One of his biggest slip-ups came when he called Falcons QB Kirk Cousins “Kerry Collins.” And that wasn’t all. Going back to last month, while covering a pre-game show for Fox, Bradshaw started talking about Browns RB Nick Chubbs’ return from injury.

Even though highlights of the Bills vs Titans were playing, thereby leading him to call it, “Whoops, wrong one.” Such repeated blunders led to fans questioning, “How is Terry Bradshaw still on TV.” There were also a few who noticed his lack of memory retention capability, “Is it just me or does it seem like Terry Bradshaw forgetting a lot of things he should know?” One of them even went ahead and gave Bradshaw an ultimatum, saying, “Terry Bradshaw needs to retire. Dude can barely read or get his words during the halftime show.”
