The Saudi Grand Prix ended with its own set of wonders but Max Verstappen’s name sits at the forefront. The 26-year-old Dutch driver propelled Red Bull to their 118th win and is currently standing at the number 4 position on the all-time list. Verstappen’s win today amazed the world today but no one more than Pat McAfee was left staggered.

Pat McAfee was involved in a friendly back-and-forth when Darius Butler posted a tweet saying, “Just tuned into the #SaudiArabianGP give me a quick update! ” To which, McAfee replied with a GIF of Homer Simpson snoring, indicating that he was bored of the race. Butler also responded to McAfee with a GIF of Indiana Jones and captioned it, “You’ll come around” Well, to everyone’s surprise, Butler’s tweet aged well since an hour later, McAfee was in shock by the results, and with Verstappens’ win.

In the latest tweet by none other than Pat McAfee himself, he has been left dumbfounded by the recent win by the legendary Max Verstappen in Jeddah. The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix saw several racers come to drive at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, but ultimately, it was Verstappen who took home the victory. Now, he has become the only driver to win the Saudi Grand Prix twice and McAfee joined several hoards of fans who are stunned after his win today.

McAfee posted a GIF that seemed to transcribe his shock and posted a 4-word caption directed towards the former cornerback for the Indianapolis Colts, Darius Butler. He wrote, “I can’t believe it @DariusJButler” Butler is an ardent F1 fan, who is known to promote the sport enthusiastically through social media. And it is because of this enthusiasm that Pat felt the need to tag Butler in his tweet. With all that said, Butler posted a tweet to congratulate the rookie Oliver Bearman who created history on the circuit today.

In a world-class debut, Oliver Bearman stood in line behind other professional racers at just the tender age of 18 and 305 days. While he should’ve had a mediocre race in his debut, he ended up taking the world by storm by finishing at the number 7 position, which is absolutely remarkable. He earned the award of Driver of the Day, which prompted his teammate Charles Leclerc to praise him by saying, “Today he’s been incredible. It’s hugely impressive, and I’m sure he’s extremely proud.”

Darius Butler too added to the train of appreciation and tweeted his congratulations for the youngster. He captioned it by writing, “Driver of the day! P7 finish for the 18YO. WOW 🔥🔥🔥 #SaudiArabianGP 🏎️” Thus, the impeccable Bearman has made his mark on the sport and has gone on to show that he has a bright future ahead. And who knows? Maybe in a few years’ time, he can be the driver who leaves Pat McAfee in a state of shock yet again.
