The Controversy that has hit the broadcasting world in the past few weeks has been just crazy. Joe Taylor, Antonio Brown, and Emmanuel Acho are just among the few names involved in this. People from all wakes of life have had their fair share to say about the topic and FOX sports, especially, have had a tough few weeks.
Now, there has been some recent development when it comes to Antonio Brown and Emmanuel Acho. Brown recently took to X to share a screenshot of Acho’s account showing how the former Eagles linebacker has blocked Brown on the platform. Well it is clear that Brown and Acho don’t see eye to eye and something was certainly going to happen and well it did. How are Brown and Acho involved in this, though?

Well, Acho got involved in the controversy and started making the headlines after he deleted a post in which he had complimented his co-host, Joy Taylor. The FS1 host had shared a post congratulating Taylor on all her hard work and how she had made a name for herself in the broadcasting world. This, though, came at the wrong time as Taylor had just been mentioned in former FOX sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji’s lawsuit. Faraji had mentioned how Taylor didn’t fully support her during her time at FOX, among other things.
Brown, on the other hand, has been constantly sharing something related to the controversy. He first took to X to share an old video of a Dave Chappelle skit captioning it, “Joy Taylor & Emmanuel Acho interview… ” While one needs to go through the clip themselves to see what Brown meant, it certainly felt like a dig at Taylor and Acho.
Now last Monday as Taylor was back on the show, Brown again got involved in the controversy. The former Bucs linebacker took to X and shared an observation he had about Taylor from that episode. He wrote, “Joy Taylor had to put the girls away after them allegations.” Given the accusations made by Faraji about Taylor, Acho, and their relationship, these posts might be the reasons behind Acho blocking Brown on X.

Acho is someone who has directly not been accused of any wrongdoing as such in the lawsuit. The lawsuit mentions that Emmanuel Acho allegedly had a consensual relationship with Taylor that supposedly advanced her career. Now, amidst all the controversy, Acho returned to the network this Monday and, along with his co-host LeSean McCoy, discussed the current ongoings in the NFL.
During the discussion, an awkward moment came while Acho was talking about the Detroit Lions and their offensive strategies. To describe the deep passing games of the Lions, Acho used the phrase, “take the top off” and McCoy couldn’t control himself from giving a reaction. “Shady” immediately responded with a cough and ‘Ahem’ to sort of war and remind Acho about the ongoing controversy.

The pair, although, completely refrained from talking about or even mentioning the lawsuit while on air. Meanwhile, FOX Sports have responded to the same and in a statement mentioned, “We take these allegations seriously and have no further comment at this time given this pending litigation.”
The controversy certainly doesn’t seem to be dying down anytime soon. From experts, players, journalists, and fans, everyone has been sharing their thoughts on the same. There are bound to be several developments regarding the same soon, and one can just wait and watch how it all unfolds.
