He further explained that roasts are designed to be brutal and that Brady very well knew that his life was to be dissected for laughs. “Then he shouldn’t have sat for a roast,” Eisen stated bluntly. “I just needed to kind of remind everybody it’s a comedy event where anything goes and if that’s not your cup of tea then don’t watch” he added. However, it seems Gisele didn’t watch the roast live. A source close to her revealed that she was focused on aiding flood victims in her home state of Brazil and “so to hear her life being joked about was very disappointing” at that moment. 

Her absence from the 2024 Met Gala further fueled speculation pointing to the roast, but an insider clarified that helping flood victims has been her priority. The insider also revealed Gisele’s genuine disappointment stating, “The jokes hit below the belt and they made it look like Gisele cheated, which she’s been desperately trying to deny.” It appears that Gisele’s frustration stems from the stigma often faced by women who leave unhealthy relationships to be unfaithful.
