Sometimes some me-time is all that one needs- and NFL legend Tom Brady reestablished just that. Liberty Media, Formula 1’s owners, prioritize the glamorous and spectacle-driven image of the sport. In the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the focus was centered on creating a high-profile experience, with celebrities, VIP events, and a sense of luxury taking precedence over the core competition of racing. But Brady had other plans.
Despite shelling out a massive $1,100 get-in price for the race, the famed quarterback decided to ditch the star-studded event and invest his time elsewhere. He later engaged in a dialogue with one of the F1 stars, furnishing him with an interesting cause of absence.

The seven-time Super Bowl champ engaged in a FaceTime exchange with Logan Sargeant from Williams Racing ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. On the video clipping posted later on the Racing account on platform X, Sergeant greets Brady and enquires about his presence, “I heard you were meant to be with us here in Vegas, but we’ll do you proud.”
Steering clear of revealing the reason behind his absence, the NFL legend furnished Sargeant with a brief apology, before wishing him luck for his upcoming match on Saturday. ‘Unfortunately, I just couldn’t make it, but I’m definitely going to be watching and pulling for you, my man,’ Brady said. The star-studded night was graced by numerous celebrities from across genres including singers, sports personalities, and actors including Brad Pitt who has been rumored to be filming his next where he plays the role of an F1 rider.

Brady was later spotted enjoying water sports on a jet board in Miami Beach. The jet board is a quite self-sufficient motorized surfboard that does not require any real current or wave to function. Following his retirement from the NFL after an expansive career spanning more than two decades, the GOAT has been shifting gears. He has prioritized health, and his children and has been spotted ‘living it up.’
He has been indulging in activities that align with his passion after walking away from stressful situations, including his eleven long years of marriage to Brazillian supermodel, Gisele Bündchen. The NFL icon’s association with auctions post his retirement is also worth mentioning, where he has been making headlines either by bidding or being bed on.
