Vanity Fair magazine famously described the Brazilian supermodel, as, “If Gisele Bündchen is a witch, she’s a good witch,” throwing into sharper relief the goodness of her kind nature. As an attempt to right the FTX wrong, she recently pledged $1 Million in efforts to uplift women in need.

The Sam Bankman-Fried’s $32 Billion FTX Scandal involved misappropriating billions of customer funds before going bankrupt in the previous year. FTX, the crypto-exchange company, enlisted several A-list celebrities, including Bündchen and ex-husband Tom Brady, for promotional efforts. They both incurred a lot of losses and are facing a lawsuit for their roles in promoting the now-bankrupt business. Bündchen’s post-divorce philanthropic and intrarenal endeavors, however, have been making noise too, for all the ‘magical’ reasons.

Bündchen told Vanity Fair, “I’m no different than everyone else that trusted the hype…I’m so sorry for all of us that this happened, and I just pray that justice gets made.” However, while justice is served, she is involved in her acts of kindness. The 43-year-old mother of two recently pledged $1 million to Lotus House a new Children’s Village which will provide counseling, job training, and therapy to women and children in need. An act of kindness that reflects heavily on her kind nature and her post-divorce endeavors have been dedicated to healing, nourishing, and leading a wholesome life that brings us closer to nature.

Channeling her core memories through her work, she has recently partnered with a supplement brand named Gaia Herbs, becoming its first wellness ambassador. For the supermodel, “it is as much a brand as it is a lifestyle,” and “it is less about business and more about, what she calls, the wisdom of plants.” She remembers her grandmother and her magical powers of healing everything with herbs she grew in her garden.

Herbs or not, through her philanthropic endeavors she has been able to become someone as “magical,” for those lives she has been able to change for the better. In addition to coping with the heartbreak following the end of their eleven-year-long relationship, the once-power couple is left nursing a grave financial wound inflicted by the sinking of another ship.

Bündchen-Brady’s  $48 Million financial wound

In a deal from 2021, the former NFL quarterback was compensated with $30 million worth of stock that has since become worthless, while his ex-wife Bündchen received $18 million for their promotional efforts with FTX. These efforts included television commercials broadcast during NFL games, TikTok campaigns, and hosting conference talk shows. The marketing initiative included Bündchen and the NFL legend endorsing FTX as the “safest and easiest way to buy and sell crypto.”

As per FTX’s bankruptcy records, the company allocated $4.9 million to Major League Baseball, a minimum of $12.2 million to a Formula 1 racing team, and $3.4 million to the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, all in an effort to establish itself as a highly recognized brand. In return for their individual investments, both Brady and Gisele were issued FTX stock, which, unfortunately, has become worthless after the company’s downfall in November 2022. Despite this loss, the former couple may still be liable for taxes on the initial investment. However, that does not stop our “good witch” from spreading her philanthropic magic, does it?
