Antonio Brown might be weaving the best one-sided love-hate relationship plot of the year. Praising the person after trolling them mercilessly would be the story of Caitlin Clark and AB if Brown makes it there. It all started with pure, unadulterated hate. The sheer efforts that Antonio Brown put into making vile memes about Caitlin Clark outright disgusted the fans. “Keeps it hairy,” was AB’s all-time favorite harassment motto for Clark. Not even sparing the plane she boarded or the shoes she promoted out of the equation, Brown made “hairy” memes on practically everything that came in contact with Caitlin Clark. Naturally, Clark didn’t take much time in blocking him. That hardly stopped Antonio Brown.

But then Brown had some sort of change of heart, almost overnight. Brown, who used to only troll Clark, had now started to post some sweet, encouraging memes on her as well. Yes, the creases of confusion were evident on everyone’s faces. Now, it is a guessing game whenever Brown posts a Caitlin Clark tweet. Will it be a loving one or a hating one?

Well, Brown’s early morning tweet on May 25 was from the latter category. It was another addition to one of the other claims Brown loved to make about Clark that Clark looked like Mel Gibson. Sharing a picture of the Indiana sensation, Antonio Brown took another cheap shot at her, iterating the striking similarity he saw between the ‘Mad Max’ star and Clark. “She really do look like Mel Gibson,” Brown tweeted alongside the picture of Caitlin Clark shared by Women’s Hoops USA. The wildest part about it all? There are worse shifts that Brown has made from praising Clark to dissing her in mere hours.

The radical love-hate saga of Brown

Even Drake and Kendrick Lamar might be taking notes for their next diss track from Brown’s tweets about Caitlin Clark. They’re that brutal. Antonio Brown went to the extent of trolling the charter flight that Clark boarded with her team to head to her first stop of the season, Los Angeles. In a video of Clark enjoying an on-board experience with her new teammates, all Brown could see was another opportunity to troll Clark.

Sharing a picture of a plane with some hair on top was enough for the fans to get Brown’s intentions as it was another cheap addition to his “Caitlin Clark likes to keep it hairy,” series.

Clark’s nonchalance towards Brown was enough to flip Brown’s opinion of her. So much so that Brown even pledged a good sum from his pocket to secure a front-row ticket for her debut preseason game. Set to be against Dallas Wings at the College Park Center in Texas, the venue was buzzing with hype as it was completely sold out.

The prices of tickets even went above $1000, proving the hype further. Yet, Brown pledged to get his hand on one, tweeting, “Courtside Tix secured for Caitlin Clark’s debut tonight in the WNBA.” The mood swings of AB are as confusing as they can get. Pledging a good amount to watch Clark play her first pre-season game just hours after trolling her would be remembered as classically Antonio Brown moves in the books of the most talked about trollers.
