Days After Urging Bill Belichick to Change “Strategy”, Tom Brady Changes His Tune to Hail Him as the “Best Coach”

Brady continues to clear out the fog surrounding the Tom Brady- Bill Belichick controversy. After many critics brought the Patriots’ head coach down, alleging his years’ worth of success with the Patriots was merely because Brady was the QB. However, the accredited person himself came to his rescue.

However, this is not the first time the former Patriots’ QB has taken a stand for his former coach. Previously as well, Brady made it clear to the listeners of his podcast “Let’s Go!” about his saying on Belichick. He holds nothing but admiration for the time Belichick has guided the team. Well, the scores currently are something that people are using against him as a weapon. However, Brady has an answer for it too.

After getting misunderstood for suggesting Belichick revamp his strategies, Brady stands solid for his take on Belichick on Stephen A. Smith’s show. Brady, the backbone of the Patriots for a good 20 seasons, knows the team like the back of his hand. Now, even though analysts like Shannon Sharpe disagree on Belichick’s progress due to embarrassing scores, Brady is firm on them being a team throughout the 6 Super Bowl winning process. “He’s the best coach in my belief in the history of the game so,” asserted Brady. Moreover, he clarified whatever shreds of speculation critics had with a single statement. “I don’t think he’s coaching much different now than when we were undefeated in 2007. I’m sure he’s preparing them the same way.”

Following this, Brady gave a strong set of reasons that might be responsible for the Patriots’ sore 2-8 condition. “The results are different, but again, that is why the sport is so challenging. There are a lot of reasons why you could lose.” He further touched upon the QB being a vital part of the team. However, not the sole entity on whom the success of the team nests, highlighting the advantages of a good defense and more.

Furthermore, Brady also weighed on coach Belichick leaving the team. Safe to say, it did not sit well with him. Belichick not being with the Patriots is ‘hard for him to think about’.
