Tom Brady‘s ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen recently opened up about matters concerning their divorce and her life in the limelight. Divulging the same, the mother of two expressed how she was just “surviving” in the said relationship, though not blaming her ex-husband. That was until Tom Brady himself opened up about a toxic trait of his, giving the football fans two perspectives of the coin.

In the Apple Podcast with Jim Gray, the seven-time Super Bowler was inquired about something along similar lines. As expected from the legend, Brady was quite straightforward in his response, needing no time to think about his difficult-to-deal-with habit.

Jim Gray asked Tom Brady a similar question that Dr. J had once asked him. The query from the past had covered the inquisitive lines of “Do you know anybody who was at the top of their profession, who was truly great or really really successful and doesn’t have one major quirk or flaw in their personality?”

For Gray, it seemed like a genuinely intriguing question, thus drawing his attention to it. Twisting the posed question a little, the matter of discussion for Tom Brady became to reply what, according to him, his toxic traits were. Brady initially found it funny because he knows that no matter how great people are, there’s always a ‘but’ involved.

Though, without taking much time, he was quick to spill the beans on this. He mentioned that relationships are about accepting these buts and still loving people for what they know, who they are, and what they bring. Brady stated, “I’m probably a little OCD with different things in my life. I like control and trying to have things in control and stability”.

That’s how the NFL legend disclosed his toxic trait for his fans to know. Per him, even after years, he is still trying to learn more about himself every day and gain better control over his habits. According to the football veteran, self-awareness remains a very important trait that can be difficult to acquire.

According to Tom Brady, through the podcast, sports businesses, communities, and churches should all have self-awareness about various matters. That is, in fact, a very hard trait to have, per the QB. As Brady explained, we live in a community where it’s challenging to own up to things, hence no one likes to admit their mistakes.

Tom Brady stood correct on the matter when he said that no one would tell their children what the world is like. Not to mention, information on the internet can often be very misleading. Since Brady is in the ‘public eye’ a lot, he added about being keen to maintain his self-awareness, wanting to reduce the drama from his life and not add to it.
