The fires are raging on. It’s hard to recognize the once-bustling Los Angeles. Pasadena and Eaton are a few of the areas that are destroyed. While the first responders and firefighters continue to fight, people are sad about their losses. Everyone is in pain seeing their burned-down homes. Former Cowboys legend Troy Aikman shared a video to show his grief with the community.
The video indicated that the 3-time Super Bowl winner lost his and his daughter’s house worth millions in the LA wildfires. But told everyone he was safe after evacuating on time. Wait, the video felt unusual. The voice in the video was not Aikman’s. In fact, the billionaire businessman Rick Caruso posted the same video on Instagram around 10 hours earlier than the NFL legend. It means the Cowboys legend didn’t lose any homes in the LA wildfires.

If you’re feeling confused, his caption explains it. Troy Aikman’s caption was “🙏🏼” showing that he paid tribute to the first responders and the firefighters while expressing his regret to the community in these challenging times. And just like the rest of the NFL world, he is also concerned about the plight of the affected people.
While Troy Aikman didn’t lose his home in LA, he knows the feeling of getting your home burned down in a fire. Back in 1998, when he played for the Cowboys, his house caught fire. His $3.2 million home in Plano, Texas, which he built in 2 years, caused damages worth $250,000. 50 firefighters doused the fire in 40 minutes, saving his football memorabilia.
The LA fires are much more dangerous. More than 9000 structures have been burned and 179,000 people displaced. While the community is trying to seek support, fans got concerned about Aikman and his family’s safety after watching the video.
Prayer Warriors unite for Troy Aikman and his family in confusion

Prayers to your daughter #8. Thankfully she is safe! All that matters ❤️🙏🏽” That’s right. The safety of the family is of utmost importance. Prayer warriors were happy that his daughter was safe. However, they kept sending messages of support for her so that she could overcome this tragic situation. While one fan commented, “Oh that’s awful. I’m so sorry, Troy. Prayers for your family,” another person had a similar prayer for the legend’s family and mentioned, “Sending prayers for your daughter and neighbors Troy. ❤️🙏”

One fan doubted that Troy Aikman was affected and wrote, “I believe this is audio from @rickcarusola, not Troy.” Uncovered the video’s truth, another fan wrote, “This doesn’t sound like Troy. I think he’s just posting someone else’s plight.”
While the fans found the truth, everyone agreed that the wildfire had caused damage that would take a long time to rebuild. Mass-level rebuilding is the need of the hour. Until then, ensuring everyone’s safety is the priority. People from the NFL world are urging support. Josh Allen’s fiancée Hailee Steinfeld also requested her fans to donate to the victims. That’s inspiring for the community which needs support to come out of this precarious situation.
