The NFL playoffs are just around the corner and all 12 teams are ready to fight each other for the wild-card round in the short run. Out of the six wild card rounds of the postseason, one of the exciting games will be at the Highmark Stadium in Buffalo Bills vs the Denver Broncos. As Sean Payton’s team moves forward, the former Dallas Cowboys legend Michael Irvin has dedicated his time and some words to motivate the Broncos.
This will be the first playoff appearance by Bo Nix’s Broncos after the Super Bowl 50 victory in 2015. It ‘was’ a worrisome story, but the Denver guys have entered successfully for the wildcard showdown. Irvin was on Fox to have a talk about the playoffs, the Super Bowl, and all. But when the host asked, “It’s Wednesday, so it’s a time for a playmaker to give a pep talk. Michael, who needs to get it together?” the way Irvin responded was historic.
Michael Irvin started, “Staying in that same theme that we’ve been talking about, who’s doing so much with a little lesson? That’s the Denver Broncos.” As the road to New Orleans for a Super Bowl is full of rocks and the team has already won the trophy, Irvin further added, “And I want to talk to these guys as they embark on this new journey. And I would go something like that. Guys, it was Super Bowl 50. In 2015, the last time this proud franchise stood at the mountaintop and delivered to Broncos nation what they have tirelessly earned and rightfully deserved, a Lombardi trophy.”

The last time the Broncos won the Lombardi Trophy was in 2015 against the Carolina Panthers, after which ‘the Sheriff’ Payton Manning was also retired.
But since the 2015 season, it was nothing but a drought. During his pep at Fox studio, Irvin continued, “Man, that’s eight long years ago. We all know that the number eight is so very special to me. And I think in this situation, it is absolutely apropos for me to share with you why the number eight means so much to me. You see, that great number eight in the Bible represents a new beginning.”
After this, the three-time Super Bowl champion Irvin recalled how he played hard in such a crucial moment, where Denver guys are currently at. Lastly, Irvin added, “Today, let’s ride all the way to New Orleans. Now, now.” He said all to motivate his current pick of Super champions.
All the Denver people must be praying to win this wildcard game no matter what. But amid this, the team’s quarterback Bo Nix has imposed a strong message for the playoffs.
After Michael Irvin’s motivational pep talk, Bo Nix wants high standards
Fans consider the Denver Broncos as the hardest defense to tackle. Their defensive tackles have done 60+ sacks so far. That’s a great achievement! But we should also know that the Bills‘ offense hasn’t allowed teams to sack their quarterback more than 6 times. That’s why it will be an intriguing matchup that is turning heads.

It’s simply why Bo Nix remains excited and composed at the same time. He has said, “This is where I want to be. These are the moments that matter. These are the moments that people remember you by. We just have to go out there and cut it loose.”
This is the first year of Nix in the NFL and that’s an impressive accomplishment for a rookie. He has done a good job so far with a 6th ranking in scoring touchdowns (29 TDs) among quarterbacks. And as the first game of the playoffs is right in the middle, Nix has said, “It’s going to be fun. Those guys have done a lot of winning in the past, and so I’ve got some catching up to do,” about teammates, expecting nothing short of a clear win.

It’s an elite mentality from the rookie and as Michael Irvin said, they must pull up a win!
