Both the NFL and hip-hop have a few things in common, the rivalries, the controversies, and all that. Just a few months ago, the hip-hop world went into a frenzy over the P Diddy controversy. It revealed some dark secrets and had everyone talking. Remember when hip-hop biggies like Eminem and Kendrick Lamar would throw shade at Diddy? Well, after the big revelation, things started making more sense. You see, sports and hip-hop have been vibing together forever. It might seem like a big, big world to us, but in reality, it’s a small world where everyone knows everyone and everything. And Cowboys legend Michael Irvin gives us subtle proof of that in a recent video where he also chimes on the whole Diddy situation. The 58-year-old former WR took to X recently to send his wishes to his longtime friend, Randy Moss.
Just a few weeks earlier, the former Pats WR announced he had been diagnosed with cancer. “I am a cancer survivor. Some trying times, but we made it through,” Moss announced in an Instagram live. Since then, NFL fans and fellow players have been sending their wishes, and Michael Irvin also left a message for the former WR. “This is a serious message to my great friend and @ProFootballHOF TEAMMATE @RandyMoss ……..pay no attention (and no diddy) (PAUSE) to my crazy chef in the background!!!”, captioned the Cowboys legend in a video posted on his socials.

The whole world knows about the ‘P Diddy’ controversy, and we don’t need to get into that. But Mr. Irvin’s unexpected take on the situation has left fans laughing for sure. And not only laughing but scratching their heads too, wondering why the Cowboys legend’s chef was making a feature in his video ‘shirtless.’ Yes, you read that right. Maybe that has something to do with the caption, dark humor, you know.
Anyway, sending his love to Randy Moss, Michael, in the video, says, “You know I love you. You know we’re pulling for you, brother. Stay strong. Be strong. Like you always have been. Love you. “
