CJ Stroud, the Houston Texans QB, has always been one to learn and grow in his career. It’s amazing to see that a young player wishes to acquire as much knowledge as possible. Recently, appearing on the Week 11 podcast Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, the youngster shared one piece of advice. Brady, being the senior pro, once imparted wisdom to the rookie player. “On TV, you look at [star quarterbacks] and think, ‘Man, they’re just so busy. They can’t hang out with their teammates. They’re probably just locked in on what they got going. And [Brady] was like, ‘I just never want to let my teammates down.’ He said those words exactly. I was like, ‘Man, that’s how I am.’
CJ showed how Tom was always a team man before setting up for personal records. Being a team player does a world of good for himself and creates positive team energy. The combined synergy and the emotions drawn from the dressing room have resulted in CJ’s outstanding career performance, the 22-year-old has completed 127 of his 213 attempts for 1,660 yards, nine touchdowns, and one interception. Safe to say, it’s heartening to see the impact Brady is having on young players and continuing to keep his sports legacy alive.
