It’s the NFL that keeps on coming in with some different rules. Now with the recent incident of rough passing with a reputed QB in the midst of the debate, Bayless jumped in with his consensus. During the recently concluded Bills vs Eagles game, Josh Allen copped one of the brutal rough-hits.
Bayless who often chimes in with his own verdicts, shared his two cents. He called out the unfair move in a 3-word tweet on the X platform. The Eagles linebacker was the enforcer when the incident transpired and the Undisputed host wasn’t having any of it!

The NFL teams go all in during the business end of the competition. Hence, they can be seen putting in the extra yards to secure a playoff berth. Recently, the Philadephia Eagles brought the controversial rough hit on the opposition QB Josh Allen. Bayless took to platform X to call it an “Absolute cheapshot roughing”.

The video of the same clearly shows Allen clearly flopping on the turf and then Nicholas Marrow coming in and hampering the balance of the player. The call went Josh’s way which was fair given that the linebacker performed an unlikely move. Recently another young QB from the Browns took a massive brutal hit that reminds me of Allen’s controversial moment.

The young QB from the Cleveland Browns also took a serious brutal hit from the Broncos player. This once again brings to light whether the QBs are the ones that are protected the most on the field. Hence, the nature of injuries. DTR was actually running in to make a play and was letting go of the ball to one of his teammates when the defender came in sprinting and knocked the player down.
It once again brought to the light, the nature of rough hits on the QBs. However, there’s another section of fans that reckon that the QBs are already the most protected players on the turf and hence the ploy is justified. The rampant injuries with the body blows make it difficult to get back up and continue at the same pace. In the Browns match, DTR already let go of the ball when the incoming hit brought his downfall. It was quite similar to Josh Allen’s hit against the Eagles.
