On the latest episode of the Nightcap show, hosts Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson talked about last night’s viral moment. And in a no-brainer situation, both of them defended Lawson’s reaction.
Chad Johnson explicitly stated, “We, as athletes, especially when it comes to our families, don’t do that. Don’t cross that line. There’s a certain line that you don’t cross, a certain line that you just don’t come to. You can heckle, you can say what you want. Don’t touch, don’t be disrespectful.” But while most of the football fans came to his defense, Lawson still issued an apology on his official Instagram account.

Thus, this prompted Lawson to get up and take a stern course of action. He issued a statement following the push which said, ” Eventually, our emotions boiled over, and I made a mistake. For that, I apologize, but there are certain lines that should not be crossed.” Conclusively, the Bills have ended their season with a 6-6 record and hence, it made sense as to why the team was visibly upset and the abusive fan certainly didn’t help with the temperament.
