Bruce Beal has spent years in real estate and sports. As president of Related Companies, which is one of the top firms in the country. He’s been behind some huge deals and helped city skylines. He was also a close advisor to Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross and was even set to take over the team at one point until plans changed, which made Tom Brady react.

Bruce Beal Jr. just put his mark in the NBA history, and Tom Brady was there to celebrate it. He took to Instagram to congratulate his longtime friend on becoming a part-owner of the Boston Celtics. Brady posted a selfie of the two, along with the caption, “The Boston boy is an owner of his Boston team. Congratulations @brucebealjr!!!”

Does Bruce Beal's Celtics ownership mark a new era of dominance for Boston sports teams?

Have an interesting take?

Bruce Beal is officially stepping into the NBA world as part of an investment group buying the Boston Celtics for $6.1 billion. Leading the charge is William Chisholm, managing partner of Symphony Technology Group. The Grousbeck family is selling a majority of the team now, with the rest changing hands in 2028. For Beal, this is a homecoming. He is no stranger to the sports world, having served as vice chairman of the Miami Dolphins.

Brady’s friendly shoutout is a nod to Beal’s growing influence in the sports world. While Beal was once expected to take over the Dolphins from Stephen Ross, that plan changed. The team, fresh off their 18th championship last season, is one of the most storied franchises in basketball, and Beal’s involvement ensures that the legacy continues to grow.

For Boston sports fans, seeing Brady embrace Beal’s ownership is just another reminder of how deeply their city’s sports culture runs. Even after leaving the Patriots and retiring from the NFL, Brady still has a special connection to Boston, and his support for Beal is proof of that. As the Celtics move forward under new leadership, Boston’s championship mindset isn’t going anywhere, and Beal’s ownership might just bring even more success to the city that already knows how to win.

Talking about Brady, it’d be incomplete to not know what Gronk mentioned him in FOX Sports.

Gronk breaks silence on FOX NFL future

The four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski, aka Gronk, didn’t stray far from the limelight after hanging up his cleats in 2022. He transitioned into broadcasting, joining Fox Sports as an analyst. Fans were thrilled to see Gronk’s charismatic presence on “Fox NFL Sunday” and “Fox NFL Kickoff,” where he brought his own insight and humor.

Speaking to On3.com, Gronk said, Brady has been handling it like a pro. “He has definitely improved as well since his first couple games, which is understandable,” Gronk said. “I mean, it’s such a tough job to do; there’s so much pressure on you. You never called a game ever, for that long in your life, to be up in that booth and break down plays like that.” But, in true Brady fashion, the seven-time Super Bowl champ kept grinding. “You get better as you go on, and that’s all… I expect nothing less from Tom Brady as well, to get better because he loves to practice good habits, he loves to get better, he’ll do anything it takes to get better,” Gronk added.

And it’s paying off. “Just to see his improvement from week one to where he is in the playoffs now is just tremendous, didn’t expect anything less,” Gronkowski said. “And he’s done such a great job in the playoffs; it’s like he’s a veteran now.” Even FOX Sports legend Terry Bradshaw gave Brady props, jokingly calling himself “the original TB” but admitting that Brady is “doing a great job.” Safe to say, Brady’s transition from the field to the booth is going just as smoothly as Gronk expected.

However, Speculation went up about Gronk’s commitment to the role and potential new ventures. Addressing the buzz, Gronkowski clarified that he had shifted to a contributor role at Fox. Instead of being a regular analyst, he now pops in occasionally, adding his flair to the broadcasts without the weekly grind.

This change wasn’t due to a lack of passion but to be flexible. Gronk has many interests, beyond his Fox duties, he’s ventured into various media projects. Notably, he teamed up with former teammate Julian Edelman to tease a new podcast, promising fans a fresh dose of entertainment and behind-the-scenes stories from their playing days.

Despite the reduced airtime, Gronk’s impact on Fox Sports remains significant. His segments are a hit, blending his football acumen with the playful personality fans adore. Whether he’s analyzing a tight end’s route or sharing a laugh about his on-field antics, Gronkowski continues to be a beloved figure in the NFL community.
