If you’re nothing without this suit, then you shouldn’t have it!” Tony Stark’s comment fits well with Michael Irvin because he is a legend without the suit. Isn’t it? From 1988 to 1999, Michael Irvin played wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys. Although his journey ended abruptly from a cervical fracture, he made sure that he remained associated with football for the years to come.

Hence, he joined the NFL Network in 2009, taking up the role of sports commentator. But hold on! Now, there might be something else in his mind.

Imagine Michael Irvin in the Marvel Costume! Well, that’s how a meme of him went viral these days on social media. Hence, during an episode of the Come And Talk 2 Me podcast, host Treasure Wilson informed Irvin, “Now it’s at 16 million views. They’re saying that you should be casted as the next Black Panther and your face is photoshopped on all of the Marvel pictures.”

However, according to the reports, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has already confirmed that they have no plans to recast the role for the character, especially after Chadwick Boseman died in 2020. Nevertheless, besides Irvin, another NFLer wanted to bag a Marvel role two years ago.
