Imagine if we told you Bill Belichick would soon be a college football coach. You would have probably thought we were crazy or something like that. But as each day passes by in Chapel Hill, it seems they are getting closer to their dream appointment. After firing Mack Brown from their program, the UNC has doubled down on their effort to bring a six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach into their ranks.
Although Belichick’s former players like Tom Brady have squashed the idea of him ever joining college football, it seems someone close to Belichick has already dropped enough hints. Yes, his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordan Hudson, has more fuel into this storyline with her latest move. As captured by Ross Martin, a college editor, Hudson has started following the official UNC account on her Instagram.
This move comes within 24 hours of her previous update. When a fan dropped a message on her Instagram post that read, “Tell Bill to come to UNC!!” She didn’t just reply. Her message ignited more fire in the talks about Belichick accepting the Tar Heels job, “I’ll pass the message along.” And Hudson isn’t the only one who has recently dropped positive news on Belichick dropping down to college football.

As per The Guardian’s Ollie Connolly, Belichick is just waiting for UNC’s green signal if they accept his demands. “Belichick handed the school a 400-page organizational bible with structure, payment plans, staffing choices, etc. The University of North Carolina is expected to make it’s decision within the next 24 hours.” So, the next 24 hours could probably reveal whether Belichick could be announced as the new Tar Heels coach or not. If he does land in college football. It would mean that his former players, Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, and Rob Gronkowski, will all be proved wrong.

Bill Belichick’s former Patriots don’t believe he will ever coach in college football
With rumors of Belichick edging closer to college football. His former Patriots prodigies’s head could hang in shame if it comes true. When Brady, Edelman, and Gronk were asked about their thoughts this Sunday on Fox. They had a pretty straightforward answer, starting with seven-time Super Bowl Champion Brady, “No.” Sitting by his side, Edelman added, “Absolutely not.” Although Gronk didn’t say anything, he just nodded in agreement.
Well, they didn’t just express their thoughts as Brady went on to impersonate Belichick as a college football coach. When Edelman asked Tom whether he saw Belichick recruiting 18-year-olds, the former Patriots QB was like, “Listen, you really wanna come here? I mean, we don’t really want ya anyway. But I guess you could come. We’ll figure out if you’ll play.” Belichick has spent his entire coaching career in the NFL, and his going on a recruitment trail doesn’t sit right with his former players.

As Brady further explained, “I think there’s a lot of things he could do. And obviously, he’s tremendous—even showing his personality. But getting out there dealing with all these college kids? That would be frightening.” Now that this storyline is getting pace, all we have to do is wait and watch. Who knows, maybe we will get a breaking news soon.
