Julian Edelman settles the dispute

When asked the ultimate question of who handled the reins at Patriots, Edelman answered the question whose answer the public had been seeking for quite some time. “I always felt it was Bill as a whole and Tom was kind of like the offensive voice. That’s what I felt when I got there,” Edelman highlighted. Hence, the maestro guiding the whole of the team was undoubtedly Bill Belichick, but Tom Brady’s contribution was far more than any player or staff member, especially on the offensive side of the ball.

So, for Edelman, it always was, always would be “Bill’s team with Tommy being the flag carrier of that team.” Along with this, Edelman also shared some inside tips on how Bill Belichick made Tom Brady play better. Addressing the controversy that sparked because of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick getting into a skirmish on-field resurfaced, he said Bill thought he was doing the right thing uh, and also you know like everyone on that team knew Tom Brady played better pissed off.”

 Hence, whether it was some Jedi-level game plan by Belichick or just the two disagreeing with each other, the Patriots were always a priority for both Brady and Belichick. So what really happened that led Tom Bray to leave the Patriots due to Belichick?

Why did Tom Brady leave the Patriots?

Per the Athletic’s report, Tom Brady sought stability in his last two seasons in the NFL. He was perfectly willing to spend the last of his legendary career years at Patriots. However, because Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft disagreed with Tom Brady’s two-year, $50 million contract, Brady had to resort to Buccaneers.
