While Tom Brady is gearing up for his future role as a Fox analyst for a $375 million contract through 10 years, another analyst is busy decoding Brady as an analyst. And his no-nonsense verdict on Brady was not something anyone would have remotely expected.

Tom Brady’s broadcasting skills highly questioned

Toucher, the host of Toucher and Hardy show on WBZ-FM in Boston, believed that Tom Brady would not excel at being a broadcaster. However, his delicate choice of words made fans gasp. The talk show host believes that, “Tom Brady’s going to be atrocious at broadcasting, and he’s making more money than I’ll ever see in my entire [career].”

Well even after taking into account Brady’s ‘Let’s Go!’ podcast with Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Grady, Toucher was not convinced. Treading on the same lane as his comments on Brady’s broadcasting prediction, Toucher called his podcast an “abomination,” per the report. To further add salt to the wound, he added, “When I tell you it’s bad, it’s so bad, it’s not even worth poking fun at. It’s just awful.”

How Brady will do at Fox news with his broadcasting skills is still remains unclear. However, Brady, the face of NFL, would be filling up the vacant spots of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman left. Along with the broadcasting part, Brady would also serve as their ambassador, specifically with their clients and promotional initiatives. Even though Brady’s skills as a broadcaster remain unknown, he has committed on improving them before he steps into the big shoes. Amidst all this, when inquired about Bill Belichick as an assistant, the host had similar reactions.

Per Toucher, Belichick should rule out the possibility of working as a broadcaster, and should rather continue with his interview with Chargers, as he would be “absolutely terrible” for the role.
