One must practice what one preaches– well, retired Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown seems to have missed the memo. He has recently been in the news, and not for the right reasons. But NFL fans are guessing the retired NFL star has already gotten used to it, given the fact that this is not his first time.
Earlier this month, Antonio Brown found himself in legal trouble in Florida. The 35-year-old Brown was arrested in Dania Beach, Broward County, after boarding a taxi cab, and was subsequently released on a $15,000 bond by the Miami-Dade Police Department. Following his release the NFL star has been on a controversial content circulation spree which has attracted widespread criticism.

The former Steelers wide receiver recently took to platform X, formerly Twitter, to share a cryptic advisory message saying, “Heal before having children so your children don’t have to heal from having you as a parent!” The inherent message might be straightforward but falls in stark contrast with his recent involvement with law-enforcement authorities.

Brown was booked earlier in October for the failure to pay child support, approximately $31,000 to be exact. In 2008, Brown and Wiltrice Jackson welcomed their daughter, Antanyiah. Jackson wanted him to face legal action because he was allegedly unable to pay child support and seemed to be openly flouting court orders. Which soon landed him in custody. The athlete’s parenting advice sounds completely presumptuous in this light and NFL fans did not shy away from voicing their perspective on the same.
NFL fans react to Brown’s cryptic comment
Fans quickly quipped back with jabs pointed at his inconsistency and controversial activity. “Bruh you need to read this tweet and take your own advice,” suggested one, while someone seconded it, saying, “Bro shoulda took his own advise.” Others were more hopeful, and suggested that this could be a sign of redemption, “This could be the beginning of your redemption arc AB,” while others just laughed at the irony, “This is the funniest s*** on the internet coming from you.” Another one left a brutal and blunt suggestion, “Or you could just pay your child support,” bringing us straight to the root cause of all his misery. But Brown is no stranger to stirring controversy.

As a reaction to his release, the retired NFL star had previously shared a controversial AI-generated post that depicted an animated Antonio Brown, clad in his Pittsburgh Steelers uniform, is depicted eluding a woman in pursuit of a bag of money held in his other hand, while he clutches a football.

Onlookers observe the scene as money spills out of the bag onto the ground. The retired football player captioned it, “F*** child support,” and blasted it across all his social media profiles. His recent ‘healing’ post, no matter how contradictory, allows a thin ray of healing hope for the beloved NFL legend.
